Company Overview

AquaFutures is a proprietary trading firm (prop firm) based in Dubai that offers capital to futures traders. According to its official website, AquaFutures belongs to the AquaFunds group and allocates 100% of its net profits to water-related charitable initiatives. Its mission is to empower traders by offering funded accounts and clear conditions: for example, they give 100% of the profits up to $15,000 and 90% thereafter. The company boasts high payouts to traders and excellent ratings (average 9.1/10 in internal surveys). Its values emphasize transparency in rules and 24/7 available support.

Evaluation and Funding Plans

AquaFutures offers four main account plans, each with distinct rules and structures:

  • Beginner (Evaluation): Initial plan with a 6% profit target, 2.5% daily loss limit, and max drawdown from 6% to 3.3% depending on account size. The position scaling is conservative (1 contract on $25k) and there is a 40% consistency rule. It is a one-step (1 phase) model with weekly payouts.

  • Standard (Evaluation): For more advanced traders. 8% profit target, no daily loss limit, and max drawdown from 6% to 3.3% depending on size. It does not allow scaling and requires 40% consistency. Withdrawals are processed every 14 days.

  • Instant (Instant Funding): The trader is “funded” immediately without a prior challenge. There is no fixed profit target. 2.5% daily loss limit and 4% max drawdown (3% on $100k). It offers “on-demand” withdrawals after meeting winning days and 20% consistency rules.

  • Instant Pro (Instant Funding Pro): Similar to Instant, but with no daily loss limit (intraday bet), 4% max drawdown (3% on $100k), and a stricter consistency rule (15%). Also with no profit target and on-demand withdrawals.

The fees differ by plan: Beginner and Standard are monthly subscriptions, while Instant/Instant Pro are one-time payments. Under the current promotional offer, the original prices (without discount) are around: Beginner $65–$285 per month depending on the account, Standard $115–$490 per month, Instant $378–$728 one-time payment, and Instant Pro $298–$598 one-time payment (for accounts from $25k to $150k depending on the plan).

Beginner Evaluation

Account SizeTarget (%)Daily Limit (%)Max Drawdown (%)Price (USD)
$25,0006%2.5%6%$65/month
$50,0006%2.5%5%$135/month
$100,0006%2.5%3.5%$195/month
$150,0006%2.0%3.3%$285/month

This plan allows position scaling (“micro-scaling”) and weekly payouts after 5 winning days. The initial cost is low, and there is no time limit to reach the target. The 2.5% daily and the drawdown reflect strict risk rules for this level.

Standard Evaluation

Account SizeTarget (%)Daily Limit (%)Max Drawdown (%)Price (USD)
$25,0008%6%$115/month
$50,0008%5%$210/month
$100,0008%3.5%$345/month
$150,0008%3.3%$490/month

The Standard plan has no daily loss limit and also does not allow scaling. Payouts are processed every 14 days after 5 winning days. The 8% target is higher, but with no time pressure to reach it, just like in Beginner.

Instant Funding

Account SizeTarget (%)Daily Limit (%)Max Drawdown (%)Price (USD)
$25,0002.5%4%$378 one-time payment
$50,0002.5%4%$578 one-time payment
$100,0002.5%3%$728 one-time payment

In Instant, there is no profit target: the trader receives the funded account immediately up to $100k. It is required to trade within the 2.5% daily and 4% drawdown (trail). After 7 winning days (not necessarily consecutive), you can request immediate withdrawals. The consistency rule is 20%, and a loss greater than the largest daily gain is not allowed.

Instant Pro Funding

Account SizeTarget (%)Daily LimitMax Drawdown (%)Price (USD)
$25,0004%$298 one-time payment
$50,0004%$498 one-time payment
$100,0003%$598 one-time payment

The Instant Pro plan also funds immediately, but with no daily loss limit. The drawdown is identical to the Instant plan (4% or 3%). The consistency rule drops to 15%, making it more demanding. Withdrawals are on-demand after completing 7 winning days.

Rules and Restrictions

AquaFutures applies clear rules for risk discipline:

  • Targets and Drawdowns: As seen above, each plan has a “profit target” (6% or 8% in evaluations, none in Instant) and daily and total drawdown limits. If they are exceeded, the account is considered lost. In Instant/Pro, a 2% “Wave Stop” is added as a floating limit for open losses.

  • Consistency: In withdrawal cycles, the most profitable day cannot exceed 40% of the total profit (20% in Instant, 15% in Instant Pro). This rule only affects payment eligibility, it does not cause expulsion.

  • Prohibitions: Abusive strategies are not allowed: no fully automated trading or bots (especially very high-frequency microscalping). It is also not permitted to open manipulative orders (layers, slippage gaming) or trade just before CME price limits (2% rule) or important macro events. Normal scalping is allowed, but ultra-fast is not. CME regulations are followed at all times. In case of violation, they can confiscate profits and close the account.

  • Single Trader: Only the registered holder can trade the account; giving it to another person is immediate cause for closure.

  • Trading Days: There is no minimum number of active days during the evaluation (take the necessary time to reach the goal). However, in Beginner/Standard, 5 winning days are required to get paid.

  • Other: Aquafutures does not allow voluntarily resetting funded accounts. The reset fee is required to re-attempt a failed evaluation.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits: The Beginner and Standard plans are monthly subscriptions (auto or manual renewal every 30 days). Credit card (auto-renewable) or cryptocurrencies (manual renewal) are accepted. The Instant/Instant Pro plans are one-time payments. There is no activation fee or hidden fee. Promotional coupons exist (the renewal price respects the original discount).

Subscription Renewal: If an evaluator progresses, the subscription is only canceled upon moving to a funded account. If the evaluation account remains active, renewing it resets the original balance or preserves profits as convenient. Be warned that not renewing within 30 days may be considered a failure of the evaluation.

Withdrawals (Rewards): Once funded, the trader can withdraw profits under certain conditions. AquaFutures offers a very high “profit split”: 100% of the first $15,000 in profit and 90% of the rest. Additionally, they have a payout guarantee: payment is made within 48 hours, or they add an extra $100. Payments are processed via Riseworks (bank transfer) or cryptocurrencies (USDC or other stablecoins). There is a withdrawal minimum (e.g., $250 in Beginner/Instant, $500 in Standard) and a $35 administrative charge per withdrawal each month.

The withdrawal frequency depends on the plan: Beginner can withdraw weekly (every 7 days) after 5 winning days, Standard every 14 days after 5 winning days. Instant and Instant Pro allow “on-demand” withdrawals (at any time) as long as the 7 winning days rule is met. Under certain conditions (5% buffer zone), extra limits may apply in Standard (keeping part of the profit to not exceed drawdown), but this rarely affects beginners.

Tradable Instruments

AquaFutures allows trading almost all major CME futures. This includes: - Indices (e.g., E-mini S&P500 ES, Nasdaq-100 NQ, Russell 2000 RTY, Dow Jones YM and their micro versions MES, MNQ, M2K). - Currencies (futures on Dollar/AUD, EUR/USD 6E, USD/JPY 6J, USD/CAD 6C, Micro EUR/USD M6E, etc.). - Commodities (metals like Gold GC, Silver SI, Micro Gold MGC, oil CL, gasoline RB; agricultural commodities like live cattle LE, lean hogs HE, soybeans ZS, etc.). - Cryptocurrencies (Micro futures for Bitcoin MBT and Ethereum MET). The tick specifications, value, and commissions are standard for CME (e.g., ~$2 per side on minor currencies). There are no additional spreads; you trade at the market price of the contracts. AquaFutures uses typical CME hours (Sun-Fri with a daily close at 16:00 CT), so trading follows a 23-23.25h daily schedule.

Restricted Countries

The company does not accept traders from several sanctioned countries. Among the most notable are China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, South Korea, Philippines, Middle Eastern countries (Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Syria), several in Africa (Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Nigeria only for crypto), and others listed on their website. In Nigeria, for example, only payment/withdrawal in cryptocurrencies is allowed. It is important to review the official list of “Restricted Territories” before registering.

Support

AquaFutures offers 24/7 trader support through multiple channels. They have a live chat on their website, staffed all day, to quickly resolve account queries. Additionally, they have a support team via email ([email protected]) and an active community on Discord where trading and platform questions are discussed. According to comments, their support is fast and helpful. There is also an extensive FAQ section in their Help Center (Intercom) for self-help.

Technical Aspects

  • Platforms: The AquaFutures trading system is the proprietary platform ProjectX, optimized for futures with advanced charting. You can also connect via Quantower, following configuration guides. The connection is made with the credentials they send at the beginning.

  • Broker: It operates with its own integrated broker (“AquaFunded”) which allows direct access to CME markets.

  • Leverage: They offer up to 1:100 maximum leverage on futures contracts. However, position limits are established (see tables above) and maintaining regulatory margins at all times is mandatory.

  • Commissions: Standard commissions are low, typically between $1 and $3 per contract per side (e.g., $1.90 on MES/RTY/ES indices, $2.22 on currencies like 6E). There are no hidden fees for opening or closing trades, only the stipulated charge per contract.

  • Spread/Slippage: When trading futures, there are no fixed spreads (you trade at the market price). However, there is a warning about the risk of slippage in volatile markets or events (facing important news, the trader assumes any slippage). To mitigate extreme risks, trading within 2% of CME price limits is prohibited.

AquaFutures Strong Points

AquaFutures stands out for several key advantages for futures traders:

  • Leading profit split: Offers up to 100% of the profit for the trader (and 90% thereafter), one of the highest in the industry.

  • Flexible models: Allows choosing between monthly subscription evaluations or instant funded accounts, with no time limit to complete targets.

  • Low initial costs: Beginner challenges starting from only $65 (monthly), making them accessible.

  • Clear rules: Everything is publicly documented (all official info is on their website), avoiding surprises or hidden terms. For example, it explicitly prohibits bots or extreme strategies.

  • Fast and guaranteed payouts: They promise payouts in 48h or an extra bonus, and have already paid millions to traders (page shows thousands of verified payouts).

  • Wide catalog of markets: The coverage of CME futures is very complete (indices, currencies, cryptos, commodities), ideal for diverse strategists.

  • Dedicated support: 24/7 support via chat, email, and community (Discord). Noted for its fast and friendly service.

  • Social responsibility: Part of AquaFunds, with a charitable mission (clean water), which adds credibility and purpose.

In summary, AquaFutures combines high rewards and flexibility with solid risk rules and active support. It is particularly attractive for futures traders looking for scalable accounts and total transparency in rules and payouts.
