A trading day only counts if it closes with at least 0.5% profit (for example, $50 on a $10,000 account). This applies to every phase and to the instant accounts.

Using an EA does not override the prohibited-strategy rules. The following remain prohibited:

• High-frequency trading
• Trades held for less than 2 minutes

EAs, Algos and Bots are allowed. Must not be used for copy trading or hedging across accounts. EAs may be requested for review upon evaluation pass. FT+ does not provide support for third-party EAs.

Each account is limited to one IP address. Contact support before changing location or IP.

Hedging is allowed on the same account (opposing positions on the same instrument). Hedging across multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.

All trades must remain open for at least 2 minutes.

Layering or stacking orders to manipulate position size or risk is prohibited.

A maximum floating-loss rule applies to evaluation and funded accounts.

• First occurrence: soft breach and profit split reduced to 45%.
• Second occurrence: account termination.

• Symbol Loss Limit (2-Step Classic): Maximum loss per single symbol per day, based on balance at 16:59 EST. Hard breach rule.
• Margin utilization review triggers at milestones (evaluation passes, scaling requests, withdrawals). Not a hard limit but triggers manual risk team review.

Copy trading is allowed between accounts connected to the trader's web-platform login, including accounts across multiple prop firms. Additional prop-firm connections are linked using an OTP sent by email. Copying from signal providers, third-party services or accounts belonging to other traders remains prohibited.

Allowed during evaluation, with restrictions on funded and instant accounts.

• Evaluation: fully allowed.
• Funded and instant accounts: no new positions from 5 minutes before until 5 minutes after high-impact news.
• Existing positions may remain open.

Instant accounts are breached after 21 consecutive calendar days without a trade.
