1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device and remember preferences or actions between visits.
This page explains every cookie set by TheGodFunded, why it exists, and how long it lives.
2. Two clearly separate surfaces
The platform has two parts with very different cookie behaviour:
- Public site (
thegodfunded.com) — browseable without an account. We do not set tracking cookies here. We only measure traffic with anonymous, aggregated analytics that do not identify you and do not follow you across sites. - Trader app (
app.thegodfunded.com) and firm panel — to use them you need an account, and we set a small set of cookies described below.
3. Cookies on the public site

We do not set persistent tracking cookies (_ga, _gid, _fbp, etc.) on the public site. Traffic analytics is done in a privacy-friendly way without unique identifiers per visitor.
4. Cookies on the trader app and firm panel

All three are first-party. None of them follow you on other websites.
5. Third parties
We use a small number of third-party services that set their own cookies:
- Cloudflare — caching and DDoS protection. May set a short-lived
__cf_bm(bot management) cookie. Does not track behaviour. - Google (OAuth) — only if you click “Sign in with Google”. Google sets its own cookies during the OAuth flow on its own domain (
accounts.google.com), not ours.
We do not use ad networks, retargeting pixels, or behavioural advertising.
6. Your choices
You can manage cookies in three ways:
- Our cookie banner — when you first visit the site, you can accept, reject or customise. You can change the choice later by clicking the cookie icon in the footer.
- Your browser — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies in settings → privacy.
- Browser extensions — uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger and similar block tracking cookies generically.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies (tgf_session, cc-consent) will break the login and the cookie banner, but the public part of the site keeps working.
7. Cookies and minors
The platform is not directed at people under 18. We do not deliberately collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will close the account.
8. Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies (session, consent) — provided under our legitimate interest in delivering the service you request (Art. 6.1.f GDPR; LSSI exception for technical cookies).
- Functional cookies (language, profile cache, theme) — your consent through the cookie banner (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
- We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, so no consent is requested for those.
9. Changes
We may update this Cookies Policy if the platform evolves and a new cookie becomes necessary. Material changes will be notified through the banner and on this page.
