Two routes, and a genuinely different product from FXIFY's forex side
FXIFY Crypto is not a crypto tab inside a normal FXIFY account. It is a separate operation with its own accounts, its own rules and its own platform, and the separation is absolute in both directions: a FOREX plan cannot trade cryptocurrencies at all, and a CRYPTO plan trades nothing else. No forex pairs, no metals, no indices. If you want both, you buy both.
There are two ways in. The 1-Phase Crypto Challenge is a single evaluation stage followed by a funded account. Crypto Instant Funding skips evaluation entirely and puts you on a funded account from the first trade, for a higher fee. Account sizes run from $5,000 to $100,000.
The headline feature is the profit split, and it works as a choice rather than a fixed number. On the 1-Phase Challenge you pick at purchase between:
- 80% split with payouts every two weeks, or
- 100% split with payouts once a month.
That is a real trade-off, not marketing. Keeping everything means waiting twice as long between cheques. Crypto Instant Funding is fixed at 80% with no 100% option.
What the market being open 24/7 actually changes
This is where the crypto accounts diverge most from the forex side, and mostly in the trader's favour.
You can trade at weekends, because the crypto market never closes. You can hold positions through the weekend with no forced closure. Compare that to FXIFY's forex Instant Funding accounts, where every position is flattened automatically at 3:45 PM EST on Friday whether you like it or not. Here nothing is closed for you.
The catch is that the daily loss limit still resets on a fixed clock. It is calculated from the previous day's balance recorded at 5 PM EST, so your "day" is defined by a New York timestamp even though the market itself never stops.
The drawdown trails to 6%, then locks for good
Both crypto products use the same risk engine: a maximum trailing drawdown of 6% and a daily loss limit of 3%.
The 6% is a fixed dollar amount calculated from your initial balance and never recalculated. It is subtracted from your High Water Mark, which is based on closed balance rather than floating equity. On a $100,000 account that is $6,000, so your floor starts at $94,000. Push the high water mark to $102,000 and the floor rises to $96,000.
It stops trailing once you reach 6% profit, at which point it locks permanently at your starting balance. On that $100,000 account, once the high water mark passes $106,000 the limit sits at $100,000 and never moves again — giving you, in FXIFY's own framing, a 10% working range on the account.
The same arithmetic scales down. A $5,000 account has a $300 buffer and locks at $5,000 once the high water mark clears $5,300. A $25,000 account has $1,500 and locks past $26,500.
Taking a payout locks the drawdown early, and that is how accounts die
This is the single most important mechanism to understand before buying, and it is invisible on any pricing page.
When a payout is processed, the maximum drawdown locks at your starting balance regardless of how much profit you made. Not when you hit 6% — the moment the money moves.
The consequence is unforgiving. Take a $100,000 account, make $1,000, withdraw the whole $1,000. Your balance returns to $100,000 and your drawdown locks at $100,000. They are now identical, and the next trade you place breaches the account on the spread alone, before the market moves a tick. The withdrawal is still paid. The account is gone.
FXIFY's advice is to leave a buffer, and their own worked example uses $200 on a $100,000 account: withdraw $800 of a $1,000 profit, keep $200 of headroom, and you can keep trading with the floor locked at $100,000 beneath you. As profits accumulate above that locked floor, the working range grows.
They are also honest that a buffer is not a guarantee — depending on your position sizing and market conditions you can leave one and still breach. How much to leave is your call.
Trading is disabled while a payout is pending, so the account sits idle until the request resolves.
The 25% consistency rule, and where it does and does not apply
Both the Crypto Instant Funded account and the funded stage of the 1-Phase plan run a 25% consistency rule. It does not apply during the challenge phase of the 1-Phase plan, which is left free.
The calculation is straightforward: no single trading day's profit may exceed 25% of your total profit for the payout period.
Best Day % of Total = (Best Day Profit ÷ Total Profit) × 100
Make $1,000 on your best day against $4,000 total and you are exactly at 25% — compliant. Make $1,500 against the same $4,000 and you are at 37.5%, which is not. Nothing is lost when you exceed it; you simply keep trading until the total grows enough to dilute that day. In that example you would need total profit above $6,000, because $1,500 ÷ $6,000 = 25%.
There is no cap on how much you can earn, and FXIFY says so explicitly. The rule shapes when you can withdraw, not how much you can make.
One detail worth knowing: the rule is checked against your best day across the payout period, so a single outsized session early on sets the bar for everything that follows until you dilute it.
Minimum days, payout timing and the 7-day heartbeat
The activity requirements differ sharply between the two products, and one of them can kill an account quietly.
1-Phase Challenge: a minimum of 4 trading days to pass the evaluation. Once funded, you must trade at least 7 days out of every 14-day payout cycle to be eligible to withdraw — opening or closing at least one trade counts as a day.
Crypto Instant Funding: payouts every 14 days from your first trade, but with a much harder condition attached. You must open or close at least one trade every 7 days. Miss that window and the account is breached outright. This is far stricter than the standard 60-day inactivity rule that governs FXIFY's forex plans, and it is the rule most likely to catch a trader who steps away for a holiday.
For the 1-Phase standard plan, ordinary inactivity is breached at 60 days.
Minimum withdrawal amounts scale with the account
On the 1-Phase Crypto plan the minimum withdrawal is $50 flat, regardless of account size.
On Crypto Instant Funding it scales: $50 on a $5,000 account, $100 on $10,000, $250 on $25,000, $500 on $50,000 and $750 on $100,000. On the largest account you need $750 of profit before you can ask for anything at all.
Every payout requires three things beyond the profit itself: completed KYC, a signed trader contract, and a verified Rise account — Rise being the third-party provider that processes all FXIFY payments. The Rise account must use the same email address as your FXIFY account.
There is no fee refund on either crypto product. Neither the 1-Phase Crypto nor the Instant Funding version returns your purchase price alongside the first withdrawal, unlike FXIFY's forex 1, 2 and 3-Phase challenges which refund 100%.
Leverage, costs and the instrument list
Leverage is deliberately conservative, and tiered by asset. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana get 5:1. Everything else gets 2:1. For a market that routinely moves several percent in a session, that is a meaningful constraint — and it is also what makes a 3% daily limit survivable.
Costs are transparent and there are two of them. A commission of 0.07% round trip per lot, charged as 0.035% when you open and 0.035% when you close. And swaps are charged on positions held overnight; there are no swap-free crypto accounts.
FXIFY takes no fee on the payout itself, though Rise may apply its own withdrawal fee — their charge, not FXIFY's.
The instrument list runs to roughly 80 pairs, all quoted against Tether, selected by market capitalisation. It spans the majors — BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, DOGE, BNB, LTC — down through mid-caps like LINK, AVAX, DOT, NEAR and UNI to small-cap tokens including SAND, MANA, CHZ and ANKR. There are no restrictions on which of them you trade, and no maximum profit.
If you want to inspect live spreads before buying, FXIFY publishes a read-only account for the raw crypto feed under the username cryptospreadtester.
DXtrade only, and no automation of any kind
The crypto plans run exclusively on DXtrade. Not MetaTrader, not TradingView — although the product page lists TradingView as "coming soon". You cannot change platform during the program, because there is nothing to change to.
That platform choice carries a consequence: EAs and bots are not permitted on crypto accounts at all, and FXIFY ties this directly to DXtrade not supporting them. Copy trading is also prohibited outright, in both directions, which is stricter than the forex side where copying between your own FXIFY accounts is allowed.
There are no demo accounts for any FXIFY challenge, crypto included.
Rules, breaches and what happens when something goes wrong
The prohibited-strategy list is the same one that governs every FXIFY product — high-frequency trading, reverse and group hedging, account management, latency arbitrage, delayed data feeds, order book spamming, herd trading, collusion, exploiting platform bugs and statistical arbitrage — with the crypto accounts adding the blanket ban on EAs, bots and copy trading.
News trading carries a five-minute blackout
Unlike FXIFY's phased forex challenges, where news trading is unrestricted, crypto accounts enforce a blackout window: no trades or orders may be placed 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after a high-impact news release.
The enforcement is asymmetric, and this is the part worth reading twice. Trades opened or closed inside that window are invalidated and do not count toward your payout — but any losses you incur stay yours and are not reversed. A trade placed legitimately before the window that is expected to hit its take-profit inside it is also treated as a news trade and voided.
Positions do not need to be flat across the release. You simply cannot open or close inside the ten-minute window, so anything you are holding must be opened at least 5 minutes before and closed at least 5 minutes after.
Breaches are measured on live equity, and there are no second chances
Hitting either the 3% daily limit or the 6% maximum drawdown breaches the account, and both are hard breaches — no pause, no warning.
Breach levels are evaluated against real-time equity, not your settled balance. If equity dips below the line for a single second the breach registers, even if the trade later closes at a better price and the balance recovers.
There are no resets and no retries on crypto accounts. Once breached, the only way back is buying a new account. There is also no scaling plan — the crypto accounts do not grow with performance, unlike FXIFY's 1, 2 and 3-Phase forex challenges.
Allocation is tight: one Crypto Instant Funded account at a time, plus one of each challenge size. FXIFY's trading team reviews activity for genuine risk management beyond the mechanical rules, so position sizing that looks like gambling is a judgement call they reserve the right to make.
Summary: who this firm suits
FXIFY Crypto fits a manual crypto trader who wants to hold positions across weekends and is willing to trade frequency for a bigger cut.
It suits you well if you actually want a crypto-native product rather than crypto bolted onto a forex account. The 24/7 market with no forced Friday close is a genuine structural advantage over FXIFY's own Instant Funding accounts. The 100% profit split on the 1-Phase plan is as good as prop trading gets, provided monthly payouts suit you. There is no cap on profit, no restriction on which of the 80 pairs you trade, and the consistency rule at 25% is looser than the 20% on Instant Funding Lite.
It suits you poorly if you automate anything: EAs, bots and copy trading are all banned, with no approval process to appeal to. It is a poor fit if you were counting on the fee refund that makes FXIFY's forex challenges attractive, because neither crypto product refunds anything. And if you want the account to grow, there is no scaling plan here at all.
Three things to understand before buying. Taking a payout locks your drawdown at the starting balance, so withdrawing your full profit ends the account on the very next trade — leave a buffer. Crypto Instant Funding requires a trade every 7 days or it breaches, which is far stricter than it sounds if you travel or take breaks. And 2:1 leverage on everything except BTC, ETH and SOL means position sizes need rethinking if you are coming from an exchange offering far more.
