AquaFunded Increases Maximum Loss Limit to 12% on 2-Step Elite Model

payoutsdrawdownrisk managementtrading conditions

AquaFunded has updated the terms of its 2-Step Elite evaluation model, increasing the maximum total loss allowance from 10% to 12%. This limit is static and applies during both the evaluation phases and funded trading, covering both realized and floating losses.

WaveStop System for Funded Accounts

A WaveStop system is triggered for funded accounts when floating PnL reaches -1% of the account balance. This mechanism operates on a strike basis:

  • First strike: Reward split is reduced to 50%.
  • Second strike: Reward split is reduced to 25%.
  • Third strike: Permanent breach of the funded account.

The WaveStop system does not apply during the evaluation stages.

Evaluation Rules and Trading Conditions

The evaluation remains a two-phase process with profit targets of 8% and 5%. The daily drawdown limit is set at 4%, with a minimum requirement of three trading days per phase. To qualify as a trading day, a minimum profit of 0.5% must be achieved; these days do not need to be consecutive.

Profit Split and Payouts

The standard profit split is 90%, with an available add-on to increase it to 100%. Standard payouts occur every 14 days, though a checkout add-on can bring the first payout forward to seven days.
