How it works
- Small upfront fee (from $7)

- Your tier's limits become the hard rules on the funded account
- The PWP fee is deducted from the first payout; future payouts use your tier's profit share
Risk Tiers (funded account limits and PWP fee as % of balance)
- Tier 1 (Very Low): Max Loss ≤2%, Max Risk ≤0.5%, Profit Share 90%, fee 1.0%
- Tier 2 (Low): Max Loss ≤4%, Max Risk ≤1%, Profit Share 80%, fee 1.5%
- Tier 3 (Moderate): Max Loss ≤6%, Max Risk ≤1.5%, Profit Share 70%, fee 2.0%
- Tier 4 (High): Max Loss ≤8%, Max Risk ≤2%, Profit Share 60%, fee 2.5%

Corporate Profile and Business Structure
PipFarm is a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Singapore, established in 2024. Led by CEO James Glyde, the firm operates under a model that emphasizes long-term trader development through a gamified "Experience Program." Unlike many firms that focus solely on the evaluation phase, PipFarm structures its business around a ranking system that rewards consistency and longevity.
The firm offers access to various asset classes, including Forex, Commodities, Indices, and Crypto, exclusively through the cTrader platform. The choice of cTrader suggests a focus on transparency and advanced execution tools, moving away from the more traditional MetaTrader environment.
Technical Infrastructure and Trading Environment
The trading environment is defined by its platform exclusivity and specific leverage constraints based on total exposure.
Trading Platforms and Assets
PipFarm utilizes cTrader as its sole platform. This provides traders with advanced features such as cTrader Automate (cBots), Open API access, and sophisticated depth-of-market tools. The available assets cover the major markets:
- Forex: Major and minor pairs.
- Commodities: Metals and energies.
- Indices: Global stock indices.
- Cryptocurrencies: Major digital assets.
Leverage and Exposure Limits
Leverage is not fixed; it scales inversely with the trader's total exposure. This tiered system is a risk management tool designed to protect the firm from oversized positions in volatile markets.
- Forex: Standard leverage is 1:30 for exposure up to $5M, dropping to 1:15 up to $10M, and 1:10 beyond that. Traders can purchase an add-on to increase initial leverage to 1:50.
- Indices and Metals: Leverage ranges from 1:20 down to 1:5 depending on exposure levels.
- Crypto: Highly restricted leverage starting at 1:2 (or 1:3 with add-on) for exposure up to $100K, dropping to 1:1 for larger amounts.
Evaluation Ecosystem and Account Types
PipFarm offers three distinct evaluation "modes" and an "Instant" funding option. Each mode is designed for a specific type of trader profile, focusing on different metrics of success.
Classic Mode
This is the standard evaluation path. It focuses on reaching a profit target within a set timeframe while adhering to drawdown limits.
- Minimum Trading Days: 3 days per stage.
- Profit Targets: 12% for 1-stage accounts; 9% for Stage 1 and 6% for Stage 2 in 2-stage accounts.
- Payout Requirement: A minimum of 3% profit is required to request a withdrawal.
Endurance Mode
This mode prioritizes sustained profitability over time rather than rapid gains.
- Minimum Profitable Days: Instead of simple trading days, it requires 3 "profitable days" per stage. A profitable day is defined as closing with a gain of at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
- Profit Targets: 12% for 1-stage; 8% and 5% for 2-stage accounts.
- Payout Requirement: Minimum 2% profit for withdrawals.
Consistency Mode
This mode is tailored for traders with highly disciplined risk management, offering double XP in the Experience Program.
- Consistency Score: Traders must maintain a score of ≤35%. This prevents a single large trade from making up the bulk of the profit.
- Profit Targets: 12% for 1-stage; 6% and 6% for 2-stage accounts.
- Payout Requirement: Minimum 1% profit for withdrawals, making it the most accessible for frequent payouts.
Instant Funding
These accounts bypass the evaluation phase but come with more stringent rules and no scaling opportunities.
- Drawdown: Uses various trailing models (EOD, Payout, or Equity trailing).
- Withdrawal Rules: Requires 5 "winning days" (minimum 0.25% gain) and a Consistency Score of ≤25%.
- Limitations: These accounts do not scale and have a fixed loss limit.
The Experience Program and Scaling
A central feature of PipFarm is the Experience Program (XP). This system transforms the funded phase into a progression-based career path.
Ranking System
Traders start at Rank 0 and can climb to Rank 6 by earning XP through milestones like passing challenges, receiving payouts, and completing specific "quests."
- Profit Split: Starts at 70% (Rank 0) and increases progressively to 99% (Rank 6).
- Drawdown Benefits: Higher ranks unlock additional drawdown allowances (e.g., Rank 2+ increases max loss by 1%).
- Commissions: Higher ranks benefit from reduced trading commissions.
- Daily Loss: Rank 4+ increases the daily loss limit from 3% to 4%.
Account Scaling
Funded accounts (excluding Instant) scale every 4 payouts or upon reaching a 12% scaling target. The increment depends on the trader's rank, ranging from 10% to 40% of the initial balance. This system incentivizes long-term retention over short-term aggressive trading.
Drawdown and Risk Management Rules
PipFarm employs several layers of risk management that traders must navigate.
Drawdown Types
- 1-Stage Trailing: The 9% drawdown is based on the High-Water Mark of the balance. This means as the balance increases, the minimum allowed account value also rises, "locking in" the loss limit at the peak performance.
- 1-Stage Static: A 6% fixed loss limit from the initial balance.
- 2-Stage Static: Offers 8% to 9% static drawdown depending on the mode.
- Daily Loss: Standard limit is 3%, calculated on the higher of the balance or equity at the end of the day.
The Pip Protector (Max Risk)
This is a hard-coded limit on the loss allowed per "trade idea."
- Instant Accounts: 2% of initial balance.
- Funded Accounts: 5% of initial balance. This rule effectively prevents "gambling" or "revenge trading" by forcing traders to cap their risk on any single setup.
Consistency Score
Applied to Consistency Mode, Instant accounts, and funded Classic/Endurance accounts (from April 2026). This metric ensures that profits are distributed across many trades. If a single trade accounts for too much of the total profit, the trader may be ineligible for a payout until they balance their performance with more trades.
Payout Policies and Financial Conditions
PipFarm has a structured and somewhat restrictive payout policy designed to ensure the firm's liquidity and reward consistent performers.
Payout Frequency and Methods
- Default: Monthly (every 30 days).
- Add-ons: Traders can pay to receive payouts bi-weekly (+10% fee) or weekly (+25% fee).
- Methods: Rise, Crypto (USDT/USDC), and Skrill.
- Processing Time: Manual review within 2 business days, followed by payment within 2 business days after approval.
Withdrawal Limits and Caps
There are two primary caps on withdrawals:
- Percentage Cap: The first payout is capped at 6% of the balance. This percentage increases with subsequent payouts.
- Hard Cap: There is a permanent maximum of $5,000 per payout, regardless of account size or profit percentage. This is a significant restriction for high-balance traders.
Fees and Refunds
- Challenge Fee Refund: This is not automatic. It is a paid add-on (+10% of the price). If purchased, the fee is credited as a profit balance in the funded account rather than a refund to the original payment card.
- Payout Fees: Rise payouts under $500 cost $25; over $500 are free. Crypto payouts have a flat $2.50 fee.
Trading Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies
The firm allows a high degree of flexibility but strictly prohibits strategies that exploit technical vulnerabilities or lack genuine market intent.
Permitted Strategies
- EAs and Bots: Allowed if they are the trader's own strategy.
- Copy Trading: Allowed between the trader's own accounts (including external brokers).
- News Trading: Fully permitted.
- Weekend/Overnight Holding: Fully permitted.
- Hedging: Allowed within a single account.
Prohibited Strategies
- Marketplace Bots: Using purchased bots (MQL5, cBot market) is forbidden.
- HFT and Latency Scalping: High-frequency trading and exploiting data feed delays are strictly banned.
- Cross-Account Hedging: You cannot hedge the same or correlated instruments across different PipFarm accounts or with other users.
- Account Churning: Buying multiple challenges to "force" a pass through random luck is prohibited.
- Copying Others: Following signals or copying other traders is a violation.
Customization via Add-ons
PipFarm offers an extensive list of "Add-ons" at checkout, allowing traders to modify the account's base parameters for an additional fee:
- Risk Adjustments: Extra Max Loss (+1%), Extra Daily Loss (+1%).
- Operational Flexibility: Swap-Free (replaces swaps with a daily fee), Skip Minimum Trading Days.
- Profit/Time: Extra Profit Share (+10%), Extended Time Limit (180 or 360 days).
- Payouts: Bi-weekly or Weekly frequency.
Summary of Key Considerations
Trader Profile Fit
PipFarm is best suited for disciplined, long-term traders who value a professional platform like cTrader. The Experience Program rewards those who can maintain a funded account for months or years. It is less ideal for "hit-and-run" traders or those looking for unlimited, massive payouts due to the $5,000 withdrawal cap.
Key Strengths
- Gamified Progression: The XP system and Ranks provide a clear career path up to a 99% profit split.
- Platform: cTrader offers a superior technical environment for automation and analysis.
- Flexibility: High tolerance for news trading, weekend holding, and custom EAs.
- Customization: Add-ons allow traders to tailor the challenge to their specific strategy.
Limitations and Risks
- Withdrawal Caps: The $5,000 hard cap per payout and the initial 6% percentage cap limit the scalability of actual income.
- Consistency Rules: The Consistency Score and profitable day requirements (in Endurance) add layers of difficulty beyond just hitting a profit target.
- Add-on Costs: Many features that are standard in other firms (like fee refunds or weekly payouts) require an additional upfront cost at PipFarm.
- Trailing Drawdown: In 1-stage accounts, the balance-based trailing drawdown can be aggressive as it "traps" the trader at their highest equity peak.
