Transition to Live
After 3 successful payouts, a risk manager will evaluate your account and decide whether you continue in INSTANT or move to Live (the transition may occur before the third payout).
During the transition:
- All other accounts are paused or closed
- Only 1 Live account is allowed
- Trading on SIM accounts is not allowed while the review is ongoing
Pre-Live Stage
Pre-Live is an intermediate phase created to facilitate the move from SIM to real capital and to evaluate discipline and risk management under conditions close to Live:
- 1 daily payout from the first day in profit
- No consistency rule
- No maximum withdrawal limits
- Activation in 3–5 days
Move to Full Live
After demonstrating consistency in Pre-Live, the account is upgraded to Live (Plus500) with real capital, without restarting the process or affecting payouts:
- Up to 10% of the initial balance of the SIM account is transferred
- Only one account migrates to Live
- The highest profit from a single account is transferred

- IGNITE
EOD trailing drawdown: Elite Challenge, Elite Daily, Elite ACCESS Standard, Instant Sim Funded and IGNITE.
Elite ACCESS Intraday uses EOD trailing drawdown during evaluation and real-time intraday trailing drawdown when funded. The funded drawdown follows the highest realized or unrealized equity and locks at starting balance + $100 after the first payout.
S2F Sim Pro uses intraday trailing drawdown.
For Instant Sim Funded, the trailing drawdown locks above the starting balance once its lock condition is reached or after the first payout.
X-ULTRA
EOD trailing in evaluation and funded stages; follows the highest closing balance, never moves down and locks at starting balance + $100. Falling below the threshold fails the account. Funded drawdown: $3,000 / $4,500 / $6,000 for 50K / 100K / 150K.

Rules
News trading allowed by default on all account types, with two exceptions:
Elite Daily (Funded)
- No trades 2 minutes before or after high-impact news events
Elite ACCESS (Funded)
- No trades 2 minutes before or after high-impact news events
Elite Challenge / Instant / S2F / IGNITE: no news restriction.
EAs and bots are NOT allowed on any account type. Manual trading only. Violations may lead to account suspension, termination or loss of funding privileges.
All trades must be closed by 4:10 PM EST. The system force-liquidates any open positions at that time. No overnight or weekend holding allowed. Weekend trading is prohibited.
Trading hours: 6:00 PM EST (Sunday) to 4:10 PM EST (Friday), with a daily break from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST.

- X-ULTRA: 50% during evaluation (best day / total profit); none when funded.
14 calendar days without a trade (entry and exit) results in hard breach. The 14-day window includes weekends and holidays. Applies to all account types.
Scalping allowed, with one restriction:
10-second rule (all account types)
- All trades must remain open longer than 10 seconds
- 10.00 seconds = violation; 10.01 seconds = acceptable
- Closing any portion of a trade before 10 seconds violates the rule
- Adding to a trade (scaling in) within 10 seconds is permitted
- Occasional minor violations are tolerated; if ~50% or more of profits/trades violate this rule, profits are removed

Six programs, and what actually separates them
Top One Futures runs six products. The price is the least useful way to tell them apart. What matters is when you pay, whether a consistency rule applies, how the drawdown behaves once funded, and how much you can withdraw before reaching live.
Elite Evaluation is the conventional route: one phase, 6% target, no consistency rule, and a flat $149 activation fee once you pass.
Elite ACCESS inverts the cost structure. A $39 one-time entry fee, a 30-day window to hit the same 6% target, no daily loss limit at all during the evaluation, and activation charged only after passing, priced by account size rather than flat. It allows up to 10 funded accounts, the highest in the lineup.
Elite Daily V2 is a one-phase model built around end-of-day trailing drawdown and daily payout eligibility, with structured contract scaling.
Instant Sim Funded, S2F Sim Pro and IGNITE skip the evaluation entirely and hand you a funded account immediately. The trade is paid in tighter mechanics: lower withdrawal ceilings, stricter consistency, and in the case of Instant accounts, no reset option at all.
The reset asymmetry
Only Elite accounts can be reset after a breach. Instant Sim Funded accounts cannot. Breach one and it is gone; you buy a new one.
Elite evaluation resets scale with size: $39 at $25K, $59 at $50K, $109 at $100K, $169 at $150K. A reset fully restores the account to its original state. Elite ACCESS advertises unlimited $35 resets, and Elite Daily V2 has its own separate reset pricing.
The drawdown lock: the mechanism that decides whether you keep your profits
Most futures firms trail your drawdown as the account grows, which means a profitable trader keeps dragging their own stop-out level upward. Top One Futures trails it too, but it stops, and knowing exactly where is the difference between protecting profits and handing them back.
The lock triggers when your balance reaches your total drawdown in profits plus $100. At that point the drawdown freezes at your starting balance plus $100 and stops following your equity.
On a $25K Instant account with a $1,000 drawdown, the lock engages at $26,100 and fixes the floor at $25,100. On a $50K account with $2,000 of drawdown, the trigger is $52,100 and the floor lands at $50,100. Elite Sim Funded accounts reach it sooner because their allowances are smaller: a $100K Elite account has $3,000 of drawdown and locks at $103,100, where the equivalent Instant account needs $104,100.
The practical consequence: the first few thousand dollars of profit are the dangerous ones. Until the lock engages, every gain drags your breach level up behind it.
Lock upon payout
There is a second, independent lock. The moment you request a payout, the maximum trailing drawdown locks at your starting balance plus $100 permanently, regardless of how much the account grows afterwards.
This makes an early withdrawal a risk-management decision, not just a cash one. Taking a small first payout converts a trailing drawdown into a fixed floor.
S2F Sim Pro plays by different rules entirely
S2F Sim Pro deserves separating out, because two of its mechanisms exist nowhere else in the range.
Its drawdown is trailing intra-day, not end-of-day. The maximum allowable loss follows your highest intra-day equity including open, unrealised positions. Every other program here measures against the close. The practical difference is large: a position that goes $2,000 in your favour and then comes back raises your breach level on the way up, even if you never bank the gain. Traders used to EOD drawdown routinely breach S2F accounts without understanding why.
It also scores how you trade, not just what you earn. The Equity Stability Score is a number measuring how steady your growth has been: whether profits came from consistent trades or from one or two lucky large ones. The firm states plainly that it is not looking only for big profits but for steady, low-variance growth, and the score is how it tells them apart.
Beyond that, S2F Sim Pro gives instant access with no evaluation, allows up to 5 concurrent accounts, and has its own post-payout drawdown lock and its own payout requirements. Copy trading between S2F Pro and classic Instant accounts has a specific rule of its own.
Daily drawdown varies by product, and by purchase date
The daily loss limit runs between 2.0% and 2.5% of balance depending on program, with one detail that catches people out: it changed mid-2026 for instant accounts.
Instant Sim Funded accounts purchased before 27 July 2026 carry $3,750 of daily drawdown on a $150K account. Accounts bought on or after that date carry $3,000. Same product name, same size, different rule, determined solely by purchase date.
S2F Sim Pro and IGNITE run tighter at 2%. Elite ACCESS has no daily loss limit during evaluation, only once funded.
Consistency rules: four different numbers
There is no consistency rule in the Elite Evaluation. You can hit the 6% target in a single session, with no minimum trading days and no requirement to spread gains.
Once funded, the rules appear, and the percentage depends entirely on the product:
- Elite Sim Funded: 25%. No single trading day's profit may exceed a quarter of total profits.
- Instant Sim Funded (upgraded from evaluation): 20%.
- IGNITE: 15%, the strictest in the lineup.
- Elite ACCESS: 40% on funded accounts, the most permissive.
- Elite Daily V2: 40%, but only during the evaluation. Once funded, Elite Daily has no consistency rule at all. That is unusual and worth noting: it is the one funded product here where a single outsized session does not hold up your payout.
Two details in the calculation matter more than the number itself.
A trading day ends at 5:00 PM EST for consistency purposes, not at midnight. A position closed at 5:30 PM belongs to the next day's tally.
On Elite Sim Funded the rule is measured across the entire life of the account, from first trade to payout. If total profit is $10,000, no single day may exceed $2,500. One outsized session early can hold up a payout until later trading dilutes it. After each payout the counter resets.
The Elite ACCESS daily progression rule
Elite ACCESS adds a second requirement that exists nowhere else in the lineup. At least 50% of each payout request must come from profits generated since your last payout. It is checked at the moment of each request and does not apply to the first payout.
The effect is that you cannot bank one large winning period and then draw it down across several payouts. Each withdrawal has to be substantially funded by recent performance.
Payouts: the ceiling, the provider, and the paperwork
Profit split is 90/10 across all sim funded accounts, with no mechanism to increase it.
The profit you need falls with each payout
Before any of the rest applies there is a threshold, and it is the detail most worth knowing: you cannot request a payout until you have generated a defined percentage of profit, and that percentage drops as you go.
- First payout: 6% of your starting balance
- Second payout: 5%
- Third and beyond: 4%
On a $100,000 sim funded account that means $6,000 of profit before the first withdrawal, then another $5,000 for the second, then another $4,000 for each one after. It applies to all Instant and Elite Sim Funded accounts.
The targets reset after each payout, exactly like the consistency rule. The two requirements move together: each cycle needs a fresh profit threshold and a compliant distribution of how you earned it.
Profitable days, not just trading days
Alongside the profit threshold there is an activity requirement, and it is stricter than it first reads. You need at least 10 trading days, of which at least 7 must be profitable.
A profitable day has a definition: a realised profit of at least 0.1% of your starting balance. That is $25 on a $25K account, $50 on $50K, $100 on $100K and $150 on $150K. A day that closes $10 up does not count.
The ten days need not be consecutive. But the requirement means a trader who makes the profit target in two strong sessions still cannot withdraw: the account needs a spread of genuinely profitable days behind it, which is the same logic as the consistency rule approached from a different angle.
Read alongside the ceiling below, the picture for a $100K Elite account is: generate $6,000, satisfy the 25% consistency rule, then withdraw up to $3,000 of it. The rest stays in the account working toward the next threshold.
Elite ACCESS uses a buffer instead
Elite ACCESS funded accounts work differently again. There is no profit target to keep the account alive, but there is a payout buffer you must clear before withdrawing.
The rule is the buffer plus $500: a $25K account has a $1,500 buffer and needs $2,000 of profit to request a payout; $50K needs $2,500 over a $2,000 buffer; $100K needs $3,500; $150K needs $5,000.
The buffer stays in the account. You are withdrawing the $500 above it, not the whole balance, which is why this product also carries the 50% daily progression rule on top.
The withdrawal ceiling
There is a floor as well as a ceiling: on Elite Daily, requests below $500 are not processed at all. Combined with the per-request caps, a $25K Elite Daily account operates in a narrow band: at least $500, at most $750.
While you remain in the sim funded stage, every withdrawal is capped. The cap depends on program, size and purchase date. An Elite Sim Funded $100K account can withdraw $3,000 per payout; the same size on Elite Daily is limited to $1,500; IGNITE on $25K is capped at $500. Instant Sim Funded 2.0 accounts, bought from 27 July 2026, sit below the older Instant accounts at every size.
The cap disappears once you qualify for a live account. That is the real distinction between sim funded and live, and it matters more than the split percentage.
Rise is now mandatory
Payouts are processed through Rise (RiseWorks), and a verified Rise account is now required. It must be created, fully verified and linked to your dashboard before any payout can be processed. An unverified Rise account blocks the payment regardless of whether you have met every trading requirement.
Each program publishes its own payout requirements as a separate guide rather than one universal policy, so the rules for Elite Sim Funded, Instant, S2F Pro, IGNITE, Elite ACCESS and Elite Daily each need reading individually.
The path to a live account
This is the part the sim funded ceiling exists to gate. After three successful payouts from a single sim funded account, a risk manager reviews it and either keeps you in sim for further review or moves you to live.
The live stage removes the constraints that define the sim stage: no withdrawal limits, no consistency rule, and the ability to withdraw every 24 hours, plus scaling up to five live accounts. There is no requirement to risk your own capital at any point.
The review is discretionary. Three payouts make you eligible, not automatically promoted.
Live has a monthly cost the sim stage does not
This is the part that surprises people, because everything up to here is paid once. In live there are no account or platform fees, but you become responsible for professional market data subscriptions.
Each exchange is $140 per month: CME, NYMEX, COMEX and CBOT are priced separately. Most traders subscribe to one, but you can take several. The firm passes these through at cost rather than marking them up, since the platform charges them for it.
Budget for it before the transition: a live trader on one exchange carries $140 of fixed monthly cost regardless of performance, which changes the arithmetic of a slow month.
If a live account is lost, the risk team decides the next step based on trading activity across every account linked to your profile, not just the one that failed.
Rules that close accounts rather than warn you
Several rules here carry hard consequences, and a few are stricter than the futures-prop norm.
No overnight positions. Trading runs 6:00 PM EST to 4:10 PM EST the next day, Monday to Friday, and everything must be closed by 4:10 PM. Miss it and the system may force-liquidate, with violations and penalties possible on top. Weekend trading is prohibited outright, and the rule applies to every instrument including crypto.
Fourteen days of inactivity is a hard breach. Not a warning, not a suspension. One trade, entry and exit, within any 14-day window measured from your last trade, and the window includes weekends and holidays. Miss it and the account closes permanently with all progress and profits lost. Fourteen days is shorter than the 30 many firms allow.
Ten-second minimum trade time. Every position must stay open at least ten seconds. Close earlier and the trade may not count toward evaluation progress, or may count as a violation on a funded account. The risk team reserves the right to strip profits from sub-ten-second trades if it judges the pattern excessive. It applies to every instrument and account size.
No EAs or bots. Automated trading is not permitted on any account.
A violation costs the account and the profits. The firm runs fraud detection and compliance monitoring, and states the consequence plainly: a trader found violating the rules or exploiting platform vulnerabilities has the account breached and all associated profits forfeited. Not reduced, forfeited. This applies across evaluation and funded stages.
That is worth weighing against the Quick Strike and minimum-trade-time rules: they are not scored with a warning system, they feed a compliance process whose outcome is losing what you have built.
Only closed profit counts. Across the evaluation targets, floating profit is ignored: the target is measured on closed PnL, and positions must be closed for the profit to register. A trader sitting on an unrealised gain that would clear the target has not cleared it.
News trading is allowed during evaluations across the range, which separates this firm from much of the futures sector. Once funded, Elite Daily accounts carry a hard restriction window: no trade execution from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a major news event, a four-minute block in total. The documentation defines specifically what counts as executing a trade inside that window, so it covers more than just opening a position.
Elite ACCESS has its own separate news rule on funded accounts.
Elite Daily V2 recalculates its daily limit every day
Most of the daily loss limits here are fixed against the initial balance. Elite Daily V2 is not: its daily limit is dynamic, calculated on the previous day's closing balance.
It runs between 1.23% and 2.00% depending on account size, which produces uneven-looking numbers: $500 on a $25K account (2.00%), $1,000 on $50K (2.00%), $1,250 on $100K (1.25%) and $1,850 on $150K (1.23%). The larger the account, the tighter the proportional limit.
Because it moves with yesterday's close, a losing day shrinks tomorrow's allowance in absolute terms. That is the opposite of a static limit, and it matters for anyone sizing positions from a fixed daily risk figure.
Account ownership, households and copy trading
This is where the firm is noticeably stricter than average, and where several rules interact.
One account per person. A strict single-profile policy: all purchases, evaluations and funded accounts must run through one original profile.
Limits apply per household, not per person. The cap on active funded accounts is shared across everyone living at the same address. A household may hold a maximum of 10 IGNITE funded accounts in total; if one member holds six, the rest share four between them. For anyone trading alongside a partner or flatmate, this is a real constraint.
Per-category limits. Elite Daily allows 5 active accounts; Elite ACCESS Funded allows 10; Instant Sim Funded allows 3 at $100K or $150K, or 5 at $25K or $50K.
Whether you can mix sizes depends on the product. Instant Sim Funded requires every account to be identical in size. Elite Daily does not: you may hold 2 × $25K, 2 × $50K and 1 × $100K within the five-account limit. And on Elite Daily that limit counts evaluations and funded accounts together, not per stage, so three evaluations in progress leave room for only two funded accounts.
Copy trading is limited to identical accounts. Same type and same size only. Mixing programs or sizes, or attempting to work around it through manual mirroring or correlated instruments, is treated as a strict violation. Elite ACCESS permits copying across up to 20 accounts within those constraints.
IP address monitoring. Trading from different devices is fine. A VPS with a static IP is allowed but support must be notified. The firm monitors IP activity across accounts to detect account sharing.
Payment methods must be yours. All payments must use methods fully owned and controlled by the account holder. Third-party payment methods are prohibited.
Costs and the things that stop you trading
Evaluations are monthly subscriptions, not one-off purchases. They renew on the same date each month, not every 30 days: buy on 21 March and it renews on 21 April, then 21 May. The renewal date is visible in the billing section.
There is a consequence worth knowing: if your account is breached, a successful rebill automatically resets the evaluation. The subscription doubles as a reset mechanism.
No refunds. A strict no-refund policy on all account purchases, applying even to accounts that have never been traded. Once bought, the transaction is final.
KYC gates everything. Identity verification is required before you can sign the funded account contract, and trading stays disabled until both KYC and contract are complete. This is the usual reason a passed account sits paused: the evaluation is cleared but the paperwork is not.
If an account shows as paused, the cause is normally an unsigned contract or incomplete KYC, resolved through the Identity Verification and Contracts tabs on the dashboard.
Platforms and instruments
Accounts run on Tradovate, which connects to NinjaTrader 8 and TradingView. Commissions and fees are set at the Tradovate account level, and ATM strategies work in NinjaTrader desktop.
The instrument list covers the usual index futures (/ES, /NQ and their micro equivalents), plus energy, metals and a genuine agricultural section: soybeans, soybean meal and wheat. That last group is not universal in this sector, so it matters if your strategy trades grains.
Contract rollovers follow standard futures behaviour and need managing around expiry. NinjaTrader maintenance windows can delay new account creation, which is worth knowing if you buy an account expecting to trade the same session.
The restricted country list is long
This deserves more than a footnote, because the list runs to more than seventy countries and includes several that traders do not expect to see next to the usual sanctioned jurisdictions.
Alongside Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba and Russia sit Turkey, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Ecuador, Panama, Jamaica, Mauritius, Iceland and Ukraine, among others. Citizenship or residence in any of them blocks access to the service.
Travel is handled separately: the rules differ depending on whether you are travelling to a restricted country or simply to a foreign one, so a trader who works while moving between countries should read that article before buying rather than after.
Checking the full list before purchase is not a formality here. It is the difference between an account you can use and one you cannot.
Summary: who this firm suits
Top One Futures fits a specific profile: intraday, discretionary, futures-focused, and comfortable closing everything before the US cash close.
It suits you well if you want a fast evaluation without consistency constraints, since the Elite Evaluation has no minimum trading days and no profit distribution requirement. Elite ACCESS in particular lowers the entry barrier to $39 with activation deferred until you pass and no daily loss limit during the evaluation, which is among the cheapest all-in structures available.
It suits you poorly if you hold overnight, run automated strategies, scalp under ten seconds, or trade sporadically enough that a 14-day gap is plausible. Each is a hard breach, not a soft warning. It also suits you poorly if you share a household with other traders, given that funded account caps are shared across the address.
Three mechanisms are worth understanding before buying. The drawdown lock determines when profits stop being at risk from your own growth, and taking an early payout locks it permanently. The withdrawal ceiling caps what you can actually take out until a risk manager moves you to live after three payouts. And the consistency percentage varies from 15% to 40% depending on product, which means the same trading pattern can qualify on one account type and fail on another.
