Technical information
The first payout can be requested at any time. Subsequent payouts can be requested every 30 days.
Crypto: 1 lot = 1 coin.
Tradexprop sells two dedicated Crypto Evaluation products: X-1 Step and X-2 Step. Both use DXTrade and offer account sizes from $5,000 to $200,000.
Leverage
Up to 5:1 on BTC and ETH. Other cryptocurrencies: 2:1.
Commissions
0.05% of total notional trade volume per side.
Plans and conditions
Crypto accounts are available up to $200,000. The combined limit for active evaluations is $1,000,000 per person.
90% for the trader on funded Crypto Evaluation accounts.
The maximum drawdown is static and remains fixed from the starting balance regardless of account growth. It does not reset after withdrawals.
±3% from the previous day's equity, reset at 5:00 PM EST.
0 minimum trading days.
No time limit.
The ±3% Daily Cap closes positions and temporarily locks the account. Reaching the static maximum drawdown is a hard breach.
Tradexprop runs monthly competitions with free evaluation prizes.
Merging is handled case by case and may be possible only for simultaneously passed accounts with the same product tier, step and platform.
Payout Protector is available as an optional checkout add-on. It protects eligible gains if the funded account is breached, but does not prevent the breach.
Maximum one evaluation per specific account size and plan type simultaneously. Maximum $1,000,000 in active evaluations per person.
A Daily Cap violation closes positions and locks the account until the next trading day. Reaching the maximum drawdown or the inactivity limit forfeits the account.

Who runs Tradexprop Crypto
A Malaysian brand on Prop Account infrastructure
Tradexprop presents itself as a prop firm founded in 2023 with an address in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, and calls itself the best prop firm in Asia. The contract, however, is with the Prop Account group (Prop Account LLC, doing business as Dashboard Analytix, alongside Forest Park FX LTD and Prop Account Cayman), whose terms, refund policy and dispute rules Tradexprop publishes, and card charges appear as dashboardanalytix.com. Disputes go to arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules. Tradexprop Crypto is the crypto-only range, traded exclusively on DXtrade.
Simulated or notional?
The product pages describe a "demo trading evaluation program" with a "virtual profit split". The crypto FAQ goes further for funded accounts: they are "backed by our capital" but notionally funded, meaning the nominal size can differ from the capital actually deposited with the liquidity provider, and the firm may act as direct counterparty to your trades, which it acknowledges as a conflict of interest. Prices and executions come from aggregated liquidity providers without markups, according to the FAQ.
Two crypto evaluations
X-1 Step and X-2 Step
Both run from $5,000 to $200,000 with a 90% profit split, no minimum days (you can pass in one day), no time limit, no stop-loss requirement, weekend holding and an instant first payout. X-1 Step asks for 9% with a 6% static drawdown; X-2 Step asks for 6% and then 9% with a wider 9% static drawdown and a lower fee. The funded account keeps exactly the same rules without a target. Neither crypto evaluation has the consistency rule that applies to Tradexprop's forex evaluations.
Markets and costs
Around 25 crypto pairs are listed, including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, LINK, AVAX, TON and TIA, tradable around the clock subject to provider hours. Leverage is 5:1 on BTC and ETH and 2:1 on other coins. Trading costs 0.05% of notional per side, and positions held overnight may incur swaps. Tradexprop can raise margin requirements, cut leverage, limit open positions or refuse orders at any time without notice.
How the limits work
The two-way daily cap
The most unusual rule is the daily cap of plus or minus 3% of the starting balance, measured from the previous day's equity and reset at 5 PM New York time. If your account moves more than 3% in either direction, losses or gains, positions are closed and the account is locked until the next trading day. On $100,000 with equity of $101,000 at the reset, the next day's band runs from $98,000 to $104,000, so a big winning day is cut off as well.
Static maximum drawdown
The maximum drawdown is set once from the starting balance and never moves, regardless of gains: $94,000 on a $100,000 X-1 Step and $91,000 on X-2 Step. Breaching it fails the evaluation or removes the funded account. Withdrawals do not reset it either, so after taking an account from $100,000 to $120,000 and withdrawing $16,000, you still have $10,000 of room above $94,000.
Inactivity
An account with no trading activity for 30 consecutive days is breached.
Trading rules
News
Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a news event is prohibited. The position can be closed and its profit removed, leverage cut or the account breached, and the firm alone decides what counts as a news event.
Prohibited practices
Exploiting price or platform errors and latency, insider information, front-running, trading that harms the broker relationship, third-party or off-the-shelf strategies marketed to pass challenges, changing strategy between evaluation and funded account, arbitrage against other accounts or firms, and gambling: all-in trades, excessive leverage or repeated one-directional exposure, and trading habitually before binary events. Automated strategies are allowed within these limits. Copy trading is allowed only between accounts you own; group trading, signal and passing services, mirroring other traders and EAs that copy trades are banned. Hedging inside one account is allowed, but opposite trades across accounts, or coordinated with other firms, are not. Every account is reviewed by the firm and the broker before funding.
Account limits
You may hold only one evaluation of a given size and plan at a time across platforms, and at most $1,000,000 of active evaluations.
Getting paid
After passing, you complete KYC and sign a Trader Agreement; the funded account is usually issued within 24 to 48 business hours. The first withdrawal can be requested at any time, and later ones no more than once every 30 days; the firm takes its 10% share of the amount withdrawn. Payouts are made in USDC or ETH on ERC20, in BTC, or in fiat through Rise. Breaching a funded account forfeits accumulated gains unless you bought the optional Payout Protector add-on at purchase, which still pays your share of gains after a breach while the account closes. Funded accounts can occasionally be merged on request, for example two 1-Step accounts passed together on the same platform. You are treated as an independent contractor and handle your own taxes.
Fees and legal terms
Participants must be 18 and not resident in OFAC-listed countries, with the firm free to exclude others. Once login details are emailed, purchases are not refunded, and any improper chargeback leads to a permanent ban.
Where the documentation disagrees
- Demo or real capital. The evaluation page speaks of demo trading and virtual profit splits; the FAQ says funded accounts are backed by the firm's capital, notionally funded, with the firm possibly acting as counterparty.
- Refunds. The terms and FAQ say there are no refunds; the refund policy allows one in special circumstances when no trade has been placed.
- Automated strategies. The FAQ allows automated strategies, while the prohibited list bans any third-party or off-the-shelf strategy and any EA that facilitates copy trading.
Who Tradexprop Crypto suits
Tradexprop Crypto suits crypto traders who want a cheap, simple evaluation with static drawdowns, no minimum days or time limit, a 90% split, no consistency rule and a first payout available as soon as they are funded, with an optional protection for gains if a funded account breaches.
It suits traders less if they ride big daily moves, because the two-way 3% cap closes winning days too, if they want frequent withdrawals after the first one, or if they trade news. Only DXtrade is available, leverage on altcoins is low, and the firm keeps wide discretion over margin, leverage and what counts as prohibited.
