Commissions
Overnight funding is 0.05% of notional, the same for longs and shorts. Crypto, stocks, indices and commodities: 00:30 UTC, including weekends. Forex: 21:00 UTC, triple on Wednesday and no separate Saturday or Sunday charge.
Plans and conditions
One registered profile and verified identity. Multiple challenges and funded accounts may sit under that profile; each is assessed separately and results cannot offset one another.
Static against each phase's starting balance, including funded accounts. It does not trail profits or move with payouts. Balance and floor reset at the start of the second phase. Equity reaching or falling below the floor, including floating losses, closes the account.
Recalculated at 00:30 UTC from the higher of balance or equity at that moment. Floating profit can raise the reference; the resulting floor is monitored against real-time equity. Reaching or falling below it breaches the account.
Five qualifying days, not necessarily consecutive, per evaluation phase. The count resets on funding and must be met again before the first payout, but not subsequent payouts.
No completion deadline; the inactivity rule still applies.
A qualifying day requires net realised profit of at least 0.8% of the starting balance. Days run from 00:30 to 00:30 UTC. Holding a position open does not add days.
No published scaling plan. Increasing capital requires additional accounts within the maximum allocation.
Free read-only DXtrade guest access to view instruments and prices, without trading. Sprint offers challenge prizes, with award-specific profit splits and payout caps.
No resets or standard free retakes. A failed challenge requires a new purchase.
Profit-share upgrade available at purchase. Variants and their prices are shown in the challenges.
Rules
Macro news trading is allowed. For single stocks, close from 24 hours before to 24 hours after earnings and ex-dividend events. Close before other corporate actions announced at least one day in advance; reopen when normal trading resumes.
Self-built or publicly available commercial EAs, bots and AI are allowed in evaluation and funded accounts. REST and WebSocket API included without fee or approval; no FIX or L2/L3 depth through the API. MT4/MT5 EAs need a bridge or adaptation. Private, exclusive or bespoke signals are prohibited.
Optional. A triggered Stop Loss exits at market and may slip. Stop Limit orders are disabled.
Allowed, including forex. Single stocks may have size limits, weekend bans or mandatory out-of-hours closure by instrument. Equity limits and overnight costs continue to apply.
Only between accounts owned by the same trader. Public signal services and commercial EAs are allowed without subscriber coordination. Copying other people's accounts, third-party management and private, exclusive or bespoke signals are prohibited.
Only within the same account. Cross-account, cross-platform and cross-firm hedging is prohibited, including via copiers. First offence involving one trade: trades closed and a one-time warning per user; multiple trades or repetition: permanent closure.
Martingale, grid, arbitrage, tick scalping, HFT, latency or error exploitation, private or bespoke signals, account sharing, insider information, coordinated risk elimination and account rolling. Abusive overleveraging, correlated overexposure and repeatedly adding to losing positions are also prohibited. Profits may be removed, payouts withheld or accounts closed.
No cap on a winning day's share of profit; qualifying-day requirements and prohibited strategies still apply.
Deactivated after 30 calendar days without valid activity, counted from assignment or the latest trade close. A trade held at least 60 seconds qualifies; open positions pause the timer and pending orders do not count. One support-requested reactivation is available within six months; afterwards it may be treated as a hard breach.
Ordinary scalping is allowed; tick scalping, HFT and pricing or latency exploitation are prohibited.
No general numeric per-trade cap. Leverage, equity limits and the ban on abusive risk still apply. Single stocks have per-company and total exposure limits published on the platform, with possible short restrictions.
VPNs, VPSs and IP changes are allowed. Only the verified owner may trade; access sharing remains prohibited.

What Velotrade is and when it started
Velotrade brings crypto, forex, stocks, indices and commodities into one evaluation account. Its prop trading service is operated by Velotrade Re Limited, incorporated in Hong Kong in November 2025. The funded trading platform launched in March 2026. This history should be distinguished from Velotrade Management Limited, the trade finance business established in 2016: the group's historical disbursement figures belong to that separate business.
Gianluca Pizzituti is CEO and Vittorio De Angelis is Executive Chairman. Both describe previous institutional trading experience. That background is different from a long prop firm payout record. Velotrade publishes withdrawal examples that can be checked through Arbitrum transactions; the published examples are a sample, rather than a complete record of accepted and rejected requests.
Both evaluations and funded accounts are simulated. Traders do not acquire underlying shares, currencies or commodities. The company states that it is not a broker, does not hold trader funds and does not hold a financial services licence for this activity. Rewards arising from simulated performance are paid in real money.
From evaluation to a funded account
CLASSIC offers single-phase and two-phase evaluations. The former shortens the route; the latter requires two successive targets and provides more loss room. PRO has one phase, a lower entry fee and the largest available size, but the narrowest starting loss buffer. The challenge table lists each variant's numerical conditions.
There is no completion deadline, but reaching the target alone is insufficient. Every evaluation phase requires five qualifying days, which need not be consecutive. A day qualifies only when it ends with net realised profit of at least 0.8% of the starting balance. Trading days run from 00:30 UTC to 00:30 UTC. Holding a position for several days does not create several qualifying days: the profit must be realised.
The counter resets when the funded account starts. Another five qualifying days must be completed before the first withdrawal. This requirement does not repeat for later withdrawals. It does not cap the contribution of the best day, although it requires profitable performance across several separate sessions.
Identity verification takes place after passing and before the funded account is issued. The published requirements are government photo identification and proof of address dated within three months. The terms reserve discretion over whether to offer funding; passing does not guarantee an automatic offer. An offer must be accepted within thirty days.
Two floors that can close the account
A static maximum drawdown
The maximum loss floor is calculated from the starting balance and remains fixed throughout the phase. It does not follow profit peaks, update at the end of the day or move after a withdrawal. On CLASSIC 2-Step, the balance resets before Phase 2 and the floor is calculated from that new starting point.
The figure monitored against the floor is equity, including open-position profit and loss. A trade need not close for a breach to occur: touching or falling below the floor ends the account. The FAQ statement that floating P&L does not affect maximum drawdown means it does not move the floor, not that floating losses are excluded from the breach calculation.
Daily loss measured from the higher of balance or equity
The daily floor is set at 00:30 UTC from whichever is higher, balance or equity. If an open position is profitable at that moment, its floating profit raises the reference. Giving that profit back later can breach the daily limit even when the account remains above its initial balance.
Both limits are monitored continuously, including through news, weekends and disconnections. The same mechanisms and percentages continue after funding. Reaching either floor closes positions and disables the account, without a reset or fee refund. On funded accounts, pending and unrequested payouts are also forfeited.
Withdrawals, review and forfeited excess
The first withdrawal clock starts with the first funded trade, rather than the challenge purchase or passing date. Fourteen calendar days must elapse and the qualifying-day requirement must be completed. Later withdrawals can be requested weekly.
Withdrawals must be full withdrawals. A trader cannot withdraw part and preserve the remaining profit for later. The first and second withdrawals are capped at twenty times the challenge fee actually paid, so using a discount also lowers that cap. Any excess is forfeited. The cap disappears from the third withdrawal onwards. After each payment, the balance returns to its initial value while the static floor stays unchanged.
Trading is halted while the risk team reviews the request. Review generally takes less than twenty-four hours but can take longer during busy periods or unexpected market movements. The twenty-four-hour processing commitment runs from approval, rather than necessarily from the original request. Updates are sent by email.
Funds are sent to the nominated wallet in USDC or USDT. Network fees are deducted and shown when requesting the withdrawal. The upgraded profit share is purchased as a variant and applies from the first payout; it is not earned through account age. Breaches, fraud or an already breached account can prevent payment. Passing does not ordinarily refund the evaluation fee.
Automation, copying and hedging
Self-built strategies, commercial EAs and signal services genuinely open to the public on standard subscription terms are permitted. A Telegram or Discord channel can qualify where anyone can subscribe. Private, exclusive, invitation-only or account-specific signals are prohibited. The owner must retain control of credentials and be able to explain the strategy's source.
Direct copying is permitted only between accounts owned by the same person. Independent subscribers acting on the same public signals do not establish a violation by themselves. Copying someone else's account, coordinating outcomes, using a third-party account manager or creating cross-account hedging through a copier is prohibited.
Opposite positions can be held inside one account, but not across separate accounts, prop firms or platforms. The specific hedging policy allows trades to be closed with a warning for a first offence involving one trade, once per user. Multiple trades or a repeat offence lead to permanent closure.
REST and WebSocket access is included during evaluation and funding. FIX and L2/L3 depth through the API are unavailable. MetaTrader EAs require a bridge or adaptation to DXtrade. Software failures remain the account owner's responsibility, on the same terms as manual orders. VPNs, VPSs and changing IP addresses are permitted; account sharing remains prohibited.
Trading freedom has specific exceptions
Ordinary scalping is allowed, but tick scalping, HFT, arbitrage, grid, martingale and exploiting latency, errors or stale prices are prohibited. The rules also prohibit account rolling, coordinated risk elimination, insider information and abusive risk-taking, including correlated overexposure and repeatedly adding to losing positions.
There is no general numerical per-trade risk cap or mandatory stop loss. That does not remove equity, leverage or instrument exposure limits. A triggered Stop Loss executes at market and may slip. Stop Limit orders are disabled; they should not be confused with Stop entry orders or protective stop losses.
Stocks: earnings, dividends and concentration
Permission to trade macro news does not permit holding a single stock through its restricted events. Positions must close at least twenty-four hours before earnings or the ex-dividend date, with reopening no earlier than twenty-four hours afterwards. The earnings restriction also covers instruments tracking or amplifying exposure to the same company.
For splits, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, rights issues, tender offers, delistings and similar actions announced at least one calendar day in advance, positions must close before the event. Reopening waits until normal trading and pricing resume. Monitoring each company's calendar is the trader's responsibility.
Single stocks may have per-company and aggregate exposure limits, restrictions on shorts, weekend holding bans or mandatory out-of-hours closure. The platform supplies the applicable limits. A violation can lead to position closure or reversal, profit removal, payout cancellation or account termination, even for a single breach.
Market access, overnight costs and account continuity
Crypto, stocks, indices and commodities are offered with derived pricing and continuous trading. For chart comparisons, Velotrade points to KuCoin USDT perpetuals; these references may differ from the underlying exchange's quotes. Forex uses conventional currency pairs and runs from Sunday 21:05 to Friday 20:55 UTC, with an approximately two-minute break around 21:00 UTC from Monday to Thursday.
Commission is calculated on notional value and charged on each side, once on opening and again on closing. Overnight funding is separate: non-FX markets are charged at 00:30 UTC every day, while forex is charged at the 21:00 UTC rollover, triple on Wednesday and without a separate weekend charge. Long and short positions face the same rate. These costs reduce account equity and count towards its limits.
One registered profile may hold several evaluations and funded accounts within the overall capital allocation limit. Each is assessed independently: accounts cannot merge or offset profit, losses or positions. There is no published scaling programme that increases an account without a further purchase.
Accounts are deactivated after thirty days without valid activity, counted from assignment or the most recent trade close. A trade held for at least sixty seconds qualifies; an open position pauses the timer and pending orders do not count. One reactivation can be requested from support within six months. After that period, prolonged inactivity may be treated as a hard breach.
Who the account may suit
Velotrade may suit traders looking for several markets in one account, a fixed maximum loss floor and automation running on their own infrastructure. Its qualifying-day requirement, daily reset with floating profit and especially the forfeited excess on early withdrawals deserve close attention.
Free guest access allows observation of prices and instruments rather than practice trading. Sprint offers a way to win evaluations through competitions; awarded challenges may carry different profit shares and payout caps that need checking for the specific prize. Users must be adults and meet the sanctions and territorial eligibility conditions in the terms. Breaches can be appealed through appeals@velotrade.com; contractual disputes follow the stated Hong Kong resolution and arbitration procedure.
