AlphaFutures Terminates NinjaTrader Partnership and Discontinues Premium Plan

AlphaFutures has announced significant structural changes following the termination of its contract with NinjaTrader (Tradovate). The partnership ended on July 12th after both parties failed to reach an agreement regarding the launch of AlphaTrader, the firm's proprietary platform, which NinjaTrader views as a competing product.

Termination of NinjaTrader Services

Effective immediately, no new accounts will be issued on the NinjaTrader platform. This decision was initiated by NinjaTrader, citing concerns over the fair promotion of competing platforms and the integration of AlphaTrader into their backend.

Migration of Existing Accounts

Traders with active Zero, Advanced, and Direct accounts on NinjaTrader or Tradovate will be migrated to the AlphaTrader platform this week. The firm aims to complete this migration quickly to ensure service continuity.

Discontinuation of the Premium Plan

The Premium Plan has been officially discontinued. AlphaFutures reported that while the plan was popular, it resulted in significant financial losses, with over $25 million paid out in the last two months alone. The loss of the Tradovate platform, where the majority of these accounts were hosted, made the plan unsustainable.

• All active Premium accounts will be closed.
• Automatic refunds will be issued to all affected users.
• Pending or unpaid payouts for the Premium Plan will not be processed; instead, the account purchase price will be refunded.
• Users do not need to contact support, as refunds will be handled automatically.

Impact on Other Plans

All other account types and plans remain unaffected. AlphaFutures will focus on its core offerings and its own ecosystem while continuing to support partnerships with other third-party platforms. The firm intends to return to same-day payout processing and its standard service levels following this transition.
