Finotive Simplifies Scalping and HFT Rules into a Single Policy

Finotive has announced a consolidation of its trading rules to simplify operations for high-frequency traders. Starting October 19, the three previous rules regarding scalping, trades opened less than 10 seconds apart, and trades held for less than 60 seconds will be merged into a single High-Frequency Trading (HFT) rule.

New HFT Rule and Profit Limits

Under the updated policy, up to 20% of total profit can be generated from trades held for up to two minutes. This rule activates automatically after the trader has closed their first 10 trades.

The firm will provide a dedicated tracker within the dashboard, allowing users to monitor exactly how much of their profit falls under this category in real-time.

Compliance and Flexibility

Exceeding the 20% threshold will not result in an account strike. Instead, traders must bring their percentage back within the allowed limit before requesting a payout.

Rollout Schedule and Eligibility

The official rollout is scheduled for Monday, October 19. All accounts purchased from October 1 onwards will qualify for these new rules and the updated dashboard as they become available. Existing accounts will continue under current rules until the update is applied to their specific account.
