Funded Futures Family has announced the implementation of End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown for its Velocity plan. Prior to this update, the program operated under an intraday trailing drawdown system, which adjusted in real-time based on the account's highest unrealized value during the trading session.
Change in Risk Calculation
The shift to an EOD model means the loss threshold is recalculated only at the close of the trading day. This modification contrasts with the previous system detailed in the firm's official documentation, where the loss limit trailed the peak profit reached immediately, affecting risk management while positions were still open.
Update Status
The announcement does not specify whether the EOD drawdown will permanently replace the intraday model or be offered as an optional configuration for Velocity plan traders. At this time, both the official website and Funded Futures Family's help center articles still display descriptions of the previous intraday system and have not yet been updated to reflect these new conditions.
