FundingPips has officially introduced its new single-phase evaluation model called 1-Step Flex. This modality allows traders to access a Master account after hitting a single profit target, with the possibility of completing the process in just one trading day, following its PRIME update with scaling up to $2M. As a launch promotion, the firm is offering a 10% discount on all account sizes.
Evaluation Conditions
The 1-Step Flex model stands out for its static risk structure and the absence of time limits:
- Profit Target: 12%
- Maximum Total Loss: 12% (Static, non-trailing)
- Maximum Daily Loss: 3%
- Leverage: Up to 1:100 for Forex (Metals 1:30, Indices 1:20, Energies 1:10, Crypto 1:2)
- No minimum trading days and no consistency rules during the evaluation phase.
Account Sizes and Pricing
Available options range from $5,000 to $100,000, with the option to add a swap-free feature:
- $5,000: $66
- $10,000: $99
- $25,000: $211
- $50,000: $313
- $100,000: $569
Reward Management
Once Master status is achieved, the trader receives an 85% profit split. Payouts are processed in bi-weekly cycles (every 14 calendar days), and the minimum withdrawal is set at 1% of the initial account balance.
Master Account Restrictions and Rules
It is essential to consider specific regulations that apply once the evaluation is passed:
60% Rule and Profitable Days
If more than 60% of the profit target is achieved through a single trade idea, the Master account will require a minimum of 4 profitable days before requesting a withdrawal. A profitable day is defined as one that closes with a profit equal to or greater than 0.5% of the initial balance.
Floating Loss Warning System
The firm implements a risk-based alert system for the Master phase:
- Warning 1: Formal warning.
- Warning 2: Profit split reduced to 50%.
- Warning 3: Profit split reduced to 20%.
- Warning 4: Contract breach and account closure.
A warning is recorded every time a trade idea reaches a 1% floating loss.
News Trading and Schedule
On the Master account, opening or closing positions during the window of 5 minutes before and after high-impact news is prohibited (a restriction worth comparing across the best prop firms for news trading). Profits obtained by violating this rule will be deducted. However, holding positions overnight and over the weekend is permitted.
