FundingTraders has launched two new types of 2-Step account: Day, built for scalpers and intraday traders, and Swing, built for traders who hold positions for longer.
Both share the same evaluation: a 10% profit target in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2, a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% static maximum loss. They come in sizes from $5K to $200K on MT5 and TradeLocker, and pay out every 21 days, or every 14 days with an add-on.
2-Step Day
- No minimum trading days in Phase 1 or Phase 2; funded accounts need 4 trading days before each payout
- Forex, gold, index and oil positions are closed automatically at 16:55 New York time every day, Friday included. The auto-close is not a rule breach
- Crypto positions can stay open overnight and over the weekend
- 80% profit split, up to 90% or 100% with add-ons
2-Step Swing
- Positions can be held overnight and over the weekend on all markets
- 4 minimum trading days in each challenge phase and 2 on the funded account
- 70% profit split on the first payout, 80% on the second and 90% from the third. It starts again at 70% on a new account or after a reset, and there are no split add-ons
Traders can switch between Day and Swing when they request a payout or reset their account, once per payout cycle. Existing 2-Step accounts keep their current rules. On MT5, the $5K account costs $79 on Day and $108 on Swing.
