Instant Funding has announced a key update to its maximum risk per instrument calculation methodology, effective this coming Monday. This measure aims to provide greater clarity and control in risk management for its traders.
The new formula dictates that the maximum allowed risk per instrument at any given time will be 50% of the account's daily drawdown. For Instant Funding accounts operating without a specific daily drawdown, the maximum risk per instrument will be set at 3%.
This simplification is intended to provide transparent limits and eliminate ambiguity in trading operations. The update has already been reflected in Instant Funding's Trading Rules, under the "Prohibited Practices → Gambling and Excessive Risk" section, available on the company's website.
