Glassnode review
Glassnode is the benchmark for on-chain data: it analyses what happens inside the Bitcoin, Ethereum and other blockchains (how much money flows in and out of exchanges, whether investors are in profit or loss, what large wallets or miners are doing). Its charts and weekly newsletter are widely cited in the industry.
We read its pricing page and the 17 reviews it has on Trustpilot, too few for a full analysis.
What it offers
- Over 1,500 assets and over 15 years of history, focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum.
- On-chain metrics: realised value, unrealised profit and loss, exchange flows, stablecoins, miners.

For prop firms
Crypto prop firms trade short timeframes, and Glassnode's data on the Advanced plan is daily. It helps you understand Bitcoin's cycle and context, not decide an entry.
Verdict
Glassnode is the most respected source of on-chain data, but its cheap plan falls short and the good one is for professionals. For a crypto prop firm trader it adds context, not signals.
Who it is for: medium and long-term Bitcoin and Ethereum investors and analysts.
Who it is not for: intraday traders looking for live liquidations or flow.
