QuantVPS review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded2 min read

QuantVPS rents virtual private servers (VPS) for trading, located in Chicago, next to the CME futures exchange. A VPS is a computer in a data centre that is always on: you install your platform or copier there and your orders leave from it, even if you switch off your own computer. It is designed mainly for futures trading and for anyone running several prop firm accounts.

We read its pricing page and 101 of its 106 Trustpilot reviews.

What it offers

  • Servers in Chicago with 0.52 ms latency to the CME, according to its website.
  • Windows or Linux, AMD processors and NVMe drives.
  • Over 40 compatible platforms: NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Quantower, Sierra Chart, MetaTrader 4 and 5 and others.
  • A dedicated IP, 24/7 network monitoring, backups and up to 6 monitors on the large plans.
  • A plan guide by how many charts or prop firm accounts you will run, for example if you copy trades to several accounts.

Prices

It has two ranges: Standard and Performance (the "+" plans, with Ryzen processors and faster memory).

Plan Standard Performance (+) For
Starter $29.99 $39.99 0 or 1 chart, 1 account
Lite $59.99 $79.99 1 to 3 charts, 1 or 2 accounts
Pro $99.99 $129.99 3 to 5 charts or accounts
Ultra $189.99 $199.99 5 to 10 charts or accounts
Dedicated $299.99 $399.99 Over 10 charts, over 20 accounts

  • Refund within the first 14 days.
  • 99.999% uptime guarantee.

What users say

It scores 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 106 reviews. Our review analysis above breaks it down.

  • The best: fast support and an easy setup.
  • The worst: occasional server freezes mid-session (one user reports losses of over $6,500), occasional drops and higher-than-advertised latency to brokers not at the CME.
  • Watch the score: eight in ten 2026 reviews arrive by invitation after a support ticket.

For prop firms

A VPS is useful if you use a copier or automated strategies that must keep running with your computer off. Before signing up:

  1. Ask your firm whether it allows trading from a VPS. Some monitor which IP you connect from.
  2. Check whether it allows automation: in our profiles, 21 of 85 forbid it and 18 limit it.
  3. If you trade forex on MetaTrader, a server in Chicago does not bring you closer to your broker; look for one near its server.

Verdict

QuantVPS is one of the best-known VPS among futures prop firm traders, with servers next to the CME and support most users value. There are cases of freezes that are costly in automated trading, so it is worth testing it within the 14-day refund window.

Who it is for: futures traders using copiers or automated strategies across several accounts.

Who it is not for: anyone trading manually from their own computer or trading forex with a broker far from Chicago.

What people say about QuantVPS on Trustpilot

We read 101 of its 106 reviews (almost all published reviews), on 9 October 2026.

4.5 Trustpilot score
3.9 Based on what they say
Features 3.9

Servers in Chicago next to the CME, Windows or Linux, a dedicated IP and support for over 40 platforms. One user measured 4 ms to their broker instead of the advertised 0.52 ms, and another says it could not handle tick-by-tick algorithms.

See review
★★★★★“they advertise 0.52ms latency to IBKR broker (not only to CME) on their website. In fact, it's 4ms.”
Reliability 3.7

Most run without problems, but there are serious cases: a server that froze for an hour during automated trading, occasional connection drops and unexplained reboots.

See review
★★★★★“Server froze one morning, unreachable for an hour, had to restart it from their panel. Cost me $6,564 in trading losses.”
Value for money 3.8

It is seen as reasonable, but some think there are more powerful VPS for the same price. Refunds only apply within the first 14 days.

See review
★★★★★“you only have 14 days to get a refund.”
Ease of use 4.4

Signing up and connecting is simple, and the website helps you pick a plan by how many charts or accounts you run.

See review
★★★★★“Quant VPS signup and install is very easy and their customer service is excellent.”
Support 4.2

It is the most praised part: fast replies, even on Sundays. Criticism: sometimes it takes up to 24 hours despite promising 24/7 help, and a chatbot before reaching a person.

Transparency 3.6

It publishes prices, specs and a guide by number of accounts. But eight in ten 2026 reviews arrive by invitation, mostly after a support ticket.

What people like

  • Servers next to the CME
  • Fast support
  • Plan guide by prop firm accounts
  • 14-day refund

What people criticise

  • Occasional freezes mid-session
  • Low latency only to the CME
  • Support sometimes slow

★★★★★“Although 24/7 support is promised, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours to receive a reply.”
