The split
Both firms offer competitive shares of the generated profit, though the structure varies significantly by account type:
- QT Funded: Offers a tiered system. The QT ONE plan starts at 70%, while QT TWO, Power, and 1-Step plans offer 80%. Their QT INSTANT plan provides a 100% profit split. Most plans (except Instant) can be upgraded to 90% via a paid add-on.
- SFX Funded: Provides a standard 85% base split across all evaluations and instant accounts. This can scale up to 100% through their scaling program. They also offer a unique "early payout" option for Rapid and Ascend plans, allowing a withdrawal after just 3 days but at a reduced 40% split.
How often you can withdraw
Accessing your capital depends on the cycle of the chosen plan:
- QT Funded: The frequency is plan-specific. QT ONE and QT INSTANT allow withdrawals every 4 days. QT TWO, Power, and 1-Step Pro operate on a 14-day cycle. Promotional accounts (QT Bonus) require a 30-day wait.
- SFX Funded: Standard payouts for Rapid and Instant accounts require 10 trading days. The Ascend plan allows the first standard payout after 14 calendar days (with 5 days traded). Once requirements are met, Instant and 1-Step Pro accounts do not have a fixed bi-weekly cycle.
Minimums and methods
The logistics of receiving your funds include specific thresholds and channels:
- QT Funded: The minimum withdrawal is 1% of the profit (with a $100 minimum). For QT INSTANT, you must reach 8% profit first (to cover a 3% buffer and 5% profit). Methods include Crypto, Bank Transfer, and Card.
- SFX Funded: Payouts under $100 are processed exclusively via USDT (TRC20). Bank transfers are available for amounts over $100. Note that for the first two payouts, there is a maximum withdrawal limit of $10,000 per request.
What delays a payout
Beyond hitting the profit target, several risk and consistency rules can freeze or delay your payment:
- QT Funded Consistency: Plans like QT INSTANT (30%), QT Power (35%), and QT 1-Step (20%) have consistency rules. Violating news trading restrictions (on QT TWO) or failing to set a Stop Loss within 60 seconds (on QT TWO and INSTANT) will impact eligibility.
- SFX Funded Stability Index (SSI): Payouts are tied to a maximum SSI (Rapid 15%, 1-Step Pro 20%, Ascend 25%). If your trading is too concentrated in a few trades, you must trade more days to balance the index. News trading is restricted 2 minutes before and after high-impact events on funded accounts.
- Floating Loss Limits: QT Funded enforces a strict 1% maximum floating loss across open positions on several funded plans. SFX Funded generally allows 2%, though 1-Step Pro and large Instant accounts are limited to 1%.
What it takes to get there
The journey to the first payout starts with the initial investment and the evaluation hurdles:
- Investment and Phases: A $100,000 evaluation at QT Funded (QT TWO) costs $550, while the same size at SFX Funded (1-Step Pro) costs $699. QT offers 1-step, 2-step, and Instant options; SFX offers similar paths but adds the Rapid (3% target) option.
- Refunds: SFX Funded refunds the evaluation fee with the 5th successful payout. QT Funded only offers a refund if you purchase a specific "add-on" at checkout.
- Platforms and Styles: QT Funded users can choose between MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and TradeLocker. SFX Funded offers MatchTrader and MetaTrader 5.
- Permitted Styles: QT Funded is more flexible with copy trading (allowed under $300k allocation) and EAs (requires pre-approval). SFX Funded prohibits all copy trading and third-party EAs, allowing only those developed by the trader.
Which pays out more comfortably
SFX Funded is more comfortable for traders who want a high starting split (85%) and a refundable fee, provided they trade with high consistency to satisfy the SSI requirements.
QT Funded is better suited for traders using copy trading or those aiming for the maximum possible split (100% on Instant), as long as they can navigate the strict 1% floating loss limits and stop-loss requirements on funded accounts.
