Finotive Updates Risk Dashboard and Relaxes Martingale Rules

prop-firm transparency payouts trading-conditions

Finotive has announced the first in a series of major updates aimed at improving transparency and user experience on its platform, building on the risk transparency dashboard launched days earlier. Following the launch of its new metrics, the firm reports that 99% of payout requests are being approved in under 5 seconds, achieving the highest payout volume in the company's history.

Martingale and Realised-Loss Recovery Adjustments

One of the most significant changes focuses on the Martingale / Realised-Loss Recovery rule, designed to offer greater flexibility to traders:

  • Volume Increase: The allowed volume increase has been raised from 30% to 100%.
  • Assessment Method: The rule is now assessed on a two-trade basis on the same symbol, using the cumulative realised-loss volume as the reference point.
  • Daily Reset: The monitoring sequence will now reset daily at 17:00 New York Time. Open trades will be carried forward for monitoring into the next trading day where applicable.

Dashboard and UI Improvements

The firm is also implementing visual and functional changes to the dashboard to prevent confusion before requesting a payout:

  • Clearer Notifications: Improved alerts for account resets and more precise wording of the rules.
  • Execution Timers: Timers have been added for trades opened under 10 seconds; the warning will automatically disappear once that time is exceeded.
  • Visual Feedback: New countdown timers for Daily Drawdown, Min Profitable Days, and Martingale rules, allowing traders to identify the end of the trading day regardless of their time zone.

These modifications aim to prioritize rule clarity before payout, moving away from the industry trend of competing solely through temporary discounts.

Finotive launches Solo FX, its first experimental challenge under the LaunchPad program

Finotive has introduced LaunchPad, an initiative designed to test limited financial products before their potential permanent implementation. The first release under this program is Solo FX, a two-phase simulated evaluation focused exclusively on the Forex market that removes several operational restrictions common in the firm. Evaluation Structure and Objectives The Solo FX (LP-1) program consists of a simulated trading account with a profit target of 10% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2. The maximum drawdown is set at a 10% static limit, while the daily drawdown is 5% static, recalculated at 17:00 New York time based on the previous close balance and including floating losses. This product is strictly limited to the Forex pairs enabled in the dashboard. Trading metals (including XAUUSD), indices, energies, commodities, stocks, or cryptocurrencies is not permitted. The platform used is MetaTrader 5, and the maximum leverage is 1:33. Operational Flexibility and New Conditions Solo FX stands out by eliminating specific rules found in other Finotive programs. It does not have a consistency rule, does not require the use of stop losses, and does not apply profit concentration or minimum trade duration restrictions. However, this does not mean a total absence of rules; practices such as latency arbitrage, execution abuse, or manipulation remain prohibited. In the simulated funded stage, an 80% profit split is applied with payouts every 7 days, although the first withdrawal can only be requested after 14 calendar days. A minimum of 4 profitable days is required, defined as days with at least 0.5% profit. Additionally, there is a floating drawdown limit of 2.5% of the initial balance calculated per symbol; breaching this reduces the cycle's reward to 10%. Technical Restrictions and Official Contradictions The use of Expert Advisors (EAs) and any automated execution systems is strictly prohibited, as is the use of VPNs or proxies to hide location. While trading during high-impact news is allowed, there is a contradiction in official sources regarding news straddling: while the dashboard prohibits it, the specific terms appear to deactivate this restriction. It is recommended to confirm this point with technical support. Another significant discrepancy affects the fee refund. Promotional material indicates it is returned after 30 days in a funded state with profits, while the legal terms (Schedule 10A-1) state that the refund is processed upon approval of the first payout request. According to the firm's regulations, the legal terms prevail over the dashboard. Availability and Launch Pricing Solo FX will be available for a period of 14 calendar days or until an aggregate balance of $20 million is reached. Current prices include a 50% discount using the code LAUNCHPAD1: $2,500 Account: $12.50 $5,000 Account: $22.50 $10,000 Account: $40.00 $25,000 Account: $102.50 The maximum accumulated rewards per account are limited to $50,000. Users are advised to review the current conditions in the official dashboard before making any purchase, given the experimental nature of the product.
