Crucial Risk Limits

• Daily Loss: You may not lose more than 4% of your account value per day. This limit is recalculated daily at 17:00 EST, based on the higher of your balance (excluding open trades) and equity (including open trades).
• Maximum Drawdown (Static Drawdown): Your maximum loss is limited to 10% of your starting balance. For example, a $10,000 account cannot drop below $9,000.

Profit Targets and Payouts

• Profit Target: To complete the challenge, traders must achieve 8% profit in Phase One and 4% in Phase Two.
• On-Demand Payouts: Profits can be withdrawn once two conditions are met:
  • Your best trading day must not exceed 15% of your total profit.
  • Your total net profit for a payout must be at least 1.5% of your starting balance or $25, whichever is larger.
  • All active trades must be closed before requesting a withdrawal.

Strict limits apply to the total lot sizes per asset class, and violation will result in an account reset.

• Risk Per Trade Idea: The maximum allowed risk per trade idea is 2% of the starting account balance for accounts of $50,000 or below, and 1.5% for accounts of $100,000 or above.

Permitted and Prohibited Strategies

• News Trading and Holding: News trading and holding positions overnight and through weekends are permitted. However, "news straddling" or tactics designed to gain an unfair advantage are not allowed. • Prohibited Practices: Instant Funding explicitly prohibits strategies such as one-sided bets, grid trading, high-frequency trading (trades under 60 seconds), copy trading between unrelated accounts, use of public third-party expert advisors, reverse trading or group hedging, group copying/account management, account churning, and exploiting system glitches or platform inefficiencies.

Account Scaling and Limits

• Scaling: Traders can double their original starting balance. By growing their balance by 10% or more over a 90-day period, they can request a 25% increase to their starting balance, a process repeatable every 90 days.
• Account Limit: The combined starting balance across all of a trader's accounts must not exceed $940,000.

Commissions and Inactivity

• Commissions: Commission-free accounts have no commissions. RAW spreads accounts apply specific per-lot commissions depending on the instrument.
• Inactivity: Accounts will be automatically closed if no trades are placed within 60 days of purchase or after the last trade.
