Edgeful: information and detailed review

Edgeful is not a signals indicator: it is a website of statistics on how price has behaved in each session. It answers questions like "how often does the Nasdaq opening gap fill?" or "what percentage of days break the first-hour range?", using several years of data. It is designed mainly for US futures and index day trading.

What it offers

• Over 150 probability reports: gaps, opening range breakouts, initial balance, engulfing candles and more. They can be filtered by weekday, direction or dates.
• "What's in play": a dashboard showing live which setups are active today, with their probabilities and targets.

The algos

The All access plan adds 7 automated algos (opening range, initial balance, engulfing candles and others) that trade on their own on Tradovate, NinjaTrader or ProjectX, with an optimizer, backtesting and mobile alerts.

Several reviews say live results look nothing like the backtest. And if you use them at a prop firm, check first whether it allows automation: in our profiles, 21 of 85 forbid it and 18 limit it.

2. Check a couple of statistics by hand for your asset before relying on them.
3. Use probabilities as a filter, not as an entry signal.
4. Before paying for the algos, test them on demo for several weeks.

Verdict

Edgeful turns into numbers what many futures traders sense: how each session usually behaves. The $49 plan is useful for anyone trading opening patterns, especially on US indices. The $299 a month algos are another story, and with no trial or refunds the risk is yours.

Who it is for: US futures and index day traders who trade breakouts, gaps or opening ranges.

Who it is not for: anyone looking for ready-made signals, or anyone who can code and pull these statistics themselves.
