FinancialJuice review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded2 min read

FinancialJuice is a live market headlines service, widely used by forex, index and futures traders. It publishes macro data (jobs, inflation, rates), central bank comments and market-moving news within seconds, and has a live audio feed ("squawk") that reads out what matters while you trade.

We read its website and the 17 reviews it has on Trustpilot. Its prices are only shown after creating an account, so we do not publish them.

What it offers

  • Live headlines on macro, bonds, commodities, crypto, stocks, forex and indices, organised in tabs.
  • Live audio summarising what matters, for example only the key lines of a Fed speech.
  • An economic calendar with a countdown to each release.
  • Session summaries, such as the morning prep for Europe.
  • A Discord community.

It runs in the browser.

Prices

It has a free plan that is delayed and has ads, and two paid plans, Pro (real time and no ads) and Elite. Its website does not show prices without signing up. One user says they upgraded to Pro during a 90% off promotion.

What users say

It scores 3.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from only 17 reviews, so we do not run a full analysis.

  • What people like: the speed, the audio that filters what matters and the community.
  • What they do not: one Pro user says the market moves about 30 seconds before its headline and that the feed sometimes stops; another, that the mobile website fails at login.
  • Note: many five-star reviews arrived together in January 2024.

For prop firms

It is one of the most useful news tools for a prop firm trader. In our profiles, 11 of 85 firms forbid news trading and 25 limit it, often a few minutes before and after high-impact releases. With its calendar and countdown you know exactly when to step aside. For that, the free plan is enough.

Verdict

FinancialJuice gives, for free, what a forex or futures prop firm trader needs most: knowing when data comes out and what it says. The paid plans add real time and remove ads, for those who trade the news. The only thing we dislike is not being able to see prices without signing up.

Who it is for: forex, index and futures traders, especially at prop firms.

Who it is not for: anyone trading individual stocks who needs company news.

Alternatives

  • Barchart: economic calendar and futures data, with a free plan.
  • Benzinga Pro: news and audio for US stocks.
