Sure Leverage Funding: News and updates

Latest news

SureLeverageFunding Standardizes News Trading Rules and Introduces Add-on Option

SureLeverageFunding has announced a significant update to its news trading policy across all evaluation programs. Moving forward, trading "red folder" news events is prohibited within a window of 5 minutes before and after the announcement. Rule Standardization and Add-on Options This update standardizes the firm's rules, removing previous inconsistencies where some challenges permitted news trading while others did not. However, traders purchasing Instant Funding Static or 1 Step accounts can now select an add-on at checkout to enable news trading on those specific account types. Policy Implementation The new restriction applies only to accounts purchased after this update. Users with accounts acquired prior to the change will retain their original trading conditions. The firm advises traders to review the full rules in the FAQ section for detailed information.

Sure Leverage Funding Announces Key Enhancements to its Instant Funding Zero Program

Sure Leverage Funding has announced important updates to its Instant Funding Zero program, aimed at optimizing the trading experience for its participants. The most notable changes include the removal of the floating loss limit and the introduction of unlimited payouts, directly addressing requests from the trading community. Key Updates to the Instant Funding Zero Program The company has implemented two significant modifications that enhance flexibility and earning potential for traders: Floating Loss Limit: The floating loss limit rule, which had previously been removed, is re-confirmed as not applicable to Instant Funding Zero accounts, offering greater operational freedom. Maximum Payouts: The payout cap has been eliminated, meaning traders can now make an unlimited number of payout requests as long as they meet the established criteria, surpassing the previous limit of five payouts. These enhancements aim to provide an even more favorable trading environment, free from unnecessary restrictions. Understanding Instant Funding Zero: An Overview Sure Leverage Funding's Instant Funding Zero program stands out for its simplified approach, removing consistency rules and streamlining the instant funding process. The goal is to offer a direct path to funded capital, with clear and straightforward rules. Key Account Parameters Instant Funding Zero accounts operate under the following parameters: Profit Cap: 5% per payout cycle. Maximum Drawdown: 5% trailing (high-watermark). Daily Drawdown: 3%. Profit Consistency Rule: NONE. Payout Frequency: Every 14 days (bi-weekly). Max Funding: $100,000. Essential Trading Rules Traders must adhere to a specific set of rules to operate within the Instant Funding Zero program: Stop Losses A stop-loss is mandatory and must be set within 5 minutes of opening any trade in funded status. 'Fake' stop-losses (where a hit would exceed daily or max DD) are not allowed. News Trading Not allowed: If a trade is open or closed 5 minutes before or after any Red news event, the profit will be soft breached/deducted from the account at payout. Expert Advisors (EAs) Not allowed on Instant Funding Zero. Copy Trading Allowed to copy your own trades; copying others in the same timeframe is not permitted. Averaging Into Trades Allowed. Tick Scalping Please avoid any attempts at tick scalping, and keep trades open for over 2 minutes. Drawdown Details Understanding how drawdown levels are calculated is crucial for risk management: Maximum Drawdown (Trailing High-Watermark, 5%) The breach level is set at the Highest balance/equity (HWM) minus 5% of that HWM. Example: Starting with $100,000, HWM is $100,000, and the breach level is $95,000. If equity peaks at $102,000, HWM updates to $102,000, and the breach level to $96,900. If the balance peaks at $107,000, HWM becomes $107,000, and the breach level $101,650. Requesting a payout and having your account drop below this level will result in account loss. Traders can opt to leave money in the account to give themselves more drawdown. Daily Drawdown (3%) Recalculated daily at 5 PM EST using the higher of balance or equity at reset. The limit is that higher value minus 3% of the initial balance. Example 1 (floating profit): For a $100,000 account with $102,000 equity at 5 PM, the next day's equity must stay ≥ $99,000 ($102,000 – $3,000). Example 2 (floating loss): If at 5 PM equity is $98,000 and balance is $100,000, use balance. The next day's equity must stay ≥ $97,000 ($100,000 – $3,000). Payout Process Sure Leverage Funding's payout system is designed to be fair and efficient: Profit Split The profit split is 70% from the first payout onward. Payout Frequency and Flexibility Payouts are processed bi-weekly (every 14 days). A significant update is the removal of the maximum payout limit, now allowing for unlimited payouts for eligible traders. Profit Cap & Max Withdrawal per Cycle The profit cap per cycle is 5% of the initial balance. The maximum withdrawal per cycle is also 5% of the initial balance. Example: On a $100,000 account, the maximum withdrawal per cycle is $5,000. Buffer Rule To request a payout, you must first reach a 3% profit buffer. Once this threshold is met, you can withdraw any profits above the buffer, with your profit split applied to the withdrawal amount. Example: On a $100,000 account, the 3% buffer is $103,000. If your balance reaches $105,000, you can withdraw $2,000 – after your 70% profit split, you'd receive $1,400. If your balance is $103,500, you can withdraw $500 and receive $350. Once payout is complete, the account balance will reset to the start balance. 24-Hour Payout Guarantee Once a payout is eligible and requested, it is processed within 24 business hours. If this is missed, you receive an extra 10% on your profit split. Exceptions include weekends/holidays, compliance/risk reviews, or delays in Rise onboarding/user response. Minimum Profitable Trading Days To request a payout, you must have at least five profitable trading days. A profitable day is any day where you've made a minimum of 0.2% profit. Once five qualifying days are hit, you are eligible to withdraw. Rule Breaches and Payout Denials It is crucial to understand the consequences of rule breaches: Soft Breaches (Profit Deductions) If a rule is broken (e.g., Lot Consistency, Stop Loss rule, or other restrictions), the profit from that trade is deducted from your total profit. If deductions are less than your profit, the reduced payout is still processed. If deductions are greater than your profit, the payout is denied. A maximum of 20 soft breaches is allowed before account closure, detected at the payout stage. If 50% or more of trades are soft breached, your payout will be declined. Payout Denial Penalties 1st Denial: Profit split halved. 2nd Denial: Account closed. Account Resets Free Reset Free resets are not available on the Instant Funding Zero program.
