SureLeverageFunding Reintroduces the $5,000 'Free Challenge'

SureLeverageFunding has announced the return of its "Free Challenge," a low-cost evaluation designed for traders to test the platform's services with minimal risk. This 2-phase challenge for a $5,000 account is available for a nominal activation fee of $1 to $5 via their dashboard.

Evaluation Structure and Targets

The challenge consists of two phases with specific profit targets and time limits:

• Phase 1: 10% profit target.
• Phase 2: 5% profit target.
• Time Limit: 30 days per stage.

Upon successful completion, traders receive a $5,000 funded account with a fixed 50% profit split. The account has a maximum total lifespan of 90 days (30 days for Phase 1, 30 for Phase 2, and 30 for the funded stage).

Risk Management and Drawdown

Traders must adhere to strict risk parameters to maintain the account:

• Maximum Drawdown: 8% static (equity must stay at or above $4,600).
• Daily Drawdown: 5% (recalculated daily at 5 PM EST).
• Stop Loss: Mandatory for funded accounts and must be set within 5 minutes of trade entry.

Trading Rules and Restrictions

The firm allows news trading and copying your own trades, but several restrictions apply to this specific model:

• No EAs: Expert Advisors are strictly prohibited on Free Challenge accounts.
• Minimum Duration: Tick scalping is not allowed; trades must be held for more than 2 minutes.
• Consistency Rule: Starting June 1st, 2025, no single trading day may equal or exceed 25% of the total profit for that payout period.

Payout Policy and Rule Breaches

The "Free Challenge" allows for only one payout request before the account is closed. The maximum withdrawal is capped at 5% of the initial balance ($250).

Soft Breaches

The firm utilizes a profit deduction system for rule violations. If a trader accumulates more than 20 soft breaches or if 50% or more of their trades are in breach of the rules, the payout request will be denied. A first denial results in the profit split being halved, while a second denial leads to account closure.
