Our review

Exocharts review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded2 min read

Exocharts is an order flow tool built mainly for crypto, though its desktop version also shows CME and Eurex futures. It has footprint, DOM, volume profiles and TPO. Its big limitation for you: it does not allow trading, only analysis.

We read its website and FAQ, and the only review it has on Trustpilot.

Two versions

  • Desktop Pro: the full version, for Windows and Mac. Footprint, DOM, composite and dynamic profiles, TPO, imbalances, liquidations and open interest, trade filters and multi-screen workspaces.
  • Web: simpler and faster, with fixed settings. Crypto only, no DOM.

Data

  • Crypto included: Binance, Bybit, BitMEX and others, with up to 6 years of tick data.
  • Futures (CME, NYMEX, Eurex) and Nasdaq stocks: by buying dxFeed data separately, Desktop Pro only.

For prop firms

Exocharts does not let you send orders from the platform, neither desktop nor web. You can use it to analyse order flow while trading your account on another platform, but not to execute.

If you trade a crypto prop firm that uses Bybit or Binance, data from those exchanges is already included.

Pricing

Version 1 month 3 months 6 months
Web $28 $25 a month $23 a month
Desktop Pro (includes web) $49 $46 a month $38 a month

There is a limited free version: on desktop, with a few crypto pairs; on the web, with live data for some pairs.

What users say

Exocharts has only one review on Trustpilot, so there is no representative opinion. That review, from a multi-year user, complains about bugs after every update and support that, in their view, assumes the user is doing it wrong. Our review analysis above shows it.

Verdict

Exocharts is a cheap, powerful option for analysing crypto order flow, on desktop or in the browser. But it does not allow trading and, for futures, you must buy data separately, so most futures prop firm traders have better options.

Who it is for: crypto traders who want footprint and profiles for analysis.

Who it is not for: anyone wanting to execute from the same platform.

Alternatives

  • Quantower: footprint and trading, also with Bybit and Binance.
  • ATAS: complete order flow for crypto and futures.
  • Bookmap: liquidity heatmap, with free real-time crypto.
