Our review

Quantower review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded2 min read

Quantower is a multi-broker trading platform with order flow tools. For a prop firm trader it has a very strong point: its free version lets you connect one account of any kind, including Rithmic or ProjectX, and trade from the chart and DOM without paying anything.

We read its pricing page, its licence comparison, its connection guides and 216 of its 365 Trustpilot reviews.

What it offers

  • DOM and chart trading, included in the free version.
  • A trade copier between accounts, also free: several reviews use it to trade several prop firms at once.
  • Footprint, volume profiles and statistics with the Volume Analysis extension.
  • DOM Surface, an order book heatmap, as a separate extension.
  • Market replay, a risk manager and automated strategies.
  • Runs on Windows (10 or 11).

Connecting your prop firm account

Quantower has official guides for connecting Rithmic, CQG, prop firm accounts that use ProjectX, and Topstep. It also connects to cTrader brokers, Interactive Brokers, OANDA and crypto exchanges. Check your firm's terms to confirm it allows Quantower.

Several reviews say its support helped them connect Apex and other firm accounts.

Source: Quantower pricing page and licence comparison, checked on 9 October 2026. Paying 3, 6 or 12 months gives discounts of up to 30%, and there is also a lifetime licence. There is a 7-day full trial and a 10-day money-back guarantee.

Third-party market data is not included in any licence.

What users say

Quantower scores 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 365 reviews, almost all spontaneous. 23 of those we read mention prop firms, almost all five-star. Our review analysis above breaks it down.

  • What people like: a modern, fast platform, the copier across firms and support that helps connect accounts.
  • Execution glitches in some reviews: errors entering or closing positions and stops not working.
  • Tickets unresolved for months, according to a lifetime licence holder.
  • Windows only, and one complaint that it does not look good on 4K monitors.

Verdict

Quantower is probably the best option for trading your prop firm account without paying for a platform: it connects to Rithmic, CQG and ProjectX, and its free version already includes DOM, chart trading and a copier. If you want footprint, you only pay for that extension.

Who it is for: futures traders on Windows who want a free or cheap platform, especially if they run several accounts.

Who it is not for: Mac users, or anyone needing the most polished order flow on the market.

Alternatives

  • ATAS: more complete order flow, on Windows and Mac.
  • NinjaTrader: also free for trading Rithmic accounts.
  • Bookmap: the benchmark heatmap.
