Jigsaw Trading: information and detailed review

Jigsaw Trading is an order flow tools and education company founded by Peter Davies. Its platform, daytradr, focuses on the DOM (the price ladder) and tape reading, and is known for having one of the best DOMs on the market.

Most interesting for you: you pay once and there is no monthly fee while you trade with prop firms.

Prop firms: no monthly fee

Its website says it works with all prop firms using Rithmic or Tradovate, in both evaluation and funded accounts. And it explains its model like this: while you are in simulation, in an evaluation or on a funded account paying you to trade simulated markets, you pay no monthly fee. Only if you move to live trading through a broker do you need the Active Trader Package, at $50 a month.

There is a 14-day guarantee on the software: if you are not convinced, you get the $579 back. Education, once delivered, is not refundable.

Its own website calculates that, for a prop firm trader over three years, it costs less than Sierra Chart, NinjaTrader Lifetime, Quantower or Bookmap. That is their comparison, not ours, but the one-off payment model does usually pay off if you use it for a long time.

Verdict

If you trade futures by reading the DOM and the tape, Jigsaw is among the best there is, and its no-monthly-fee model fits Rithmic and Tradovate prop firms very well. The upfront payment is high, but it pays off if you use it for a long time.

Who it is for: futures prop firm traders who trade from the DOM and want to learn order flow seriously.

Who it is not for: anyone trading on MetaTrader or cTrader, or wanting to try order flow without spending.
