BrightFunded Launches Three New Tailored Challenge Plans for Traders

Major BrightFunded Update: Three New Tailored Challenge Plans for Traders BrightFunded announces a complete overhaul of its challenge programs, introducing three new distinct paths designed to accommodate various trading styles. This significant update replaces the previous structure, offering traders more personalized options to achieve a funded account. Customization: BrightFunded's New Philosophy The platform now offers a selection of three distinct challenges, allowing traders to choose the path that best fits their strategy and risk preferences. This initiative aims to move away from a "one-size-fits-all" approach and empower traders with flexibility and choices for their funding goals. Details of the New Challenge Plans 1-Step Challenge: The Fast Track This plan is designed for traders who aim to reach a funded account as quickly as possible, featuring a single evaluation phase. Evaluation Phases: 1 phase Profit Target: 10% Daily Drawdown Rule: 3% (calculated as the higher value between equity and balance at the start of the day). Example: On a $100,000 account, the daily loss limit is $3,000. Maximum Drawdown Rule: 6% trailing (dynamic). This limit follows the highest equity ever reached (high-water mark) and locks in place once the equity reaches 6% above the initial balance. Profit Share: 15% 2-Step Bright Challenge: Balanced Conditions This entry-level option offers a balance between achievable profit targets and drawdown rules that provide sufficient room to trade with confidence. Evaluation Phases: 2 phases Phase 1: 8% profit target Phase 2: 5% profit target Daily Drawdown Rule: 4% (calculated as the higher value between equity and balance at the start of the day). Example: On a $100,000 account, the daily loss limit is $4,000. Maximum Drawdown Rule: 8% static. The limit is fixed from the start based on the original account balance and does not move. Profit Share: 15% 2-Step Classic Challenge: Greater Flexibility Built for traders who prefer working with wider targets and a larger drawdown buffer, offering more flexibility for their strategy. Evaluation Phases: 2 phases Phase 1: 10% profit target Phase 2: 5% profit target Daily Drawdown Rule: 5% (calculated as the higher value between equity and balance at the start of the day). Example: On a $100,000 account, the daily loss limit is $5,000. Maximum Drawdown Rule: 10% static. The limit is fixed from the account's initial balance and does not change throughout the evaluation. Profit Share: 15% Understanding Drawdown Rules Daily Drawdown (DD) The daily limit is calculated based on the higher value between your equity and balance at the start of the day. Your account's equity (closed positions + floating PnL) must not reach this maximum daily loss limit. Maximum Drawdown (DD) Trailing (Dynamic): Used in the 1-Step plan. It follows the "high-water mark" (the highest equity ever reached). As your equity grows, the minimum threshold rises with it. However, once the equity reaches 6% above the initial balance, the limit locks in place and stops moving. Static: Used in the 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic plans. It is fixed from the start based on the original account balance and does not move, providing a constant absolute limit. Transition from the "Original" Plan BrightFunded's previous structure, now labeled "Original," will remain available for a limited time to support existing users. Upon updating, users will automatically transition to the new Challenge structure. For any questions or assistance in choosing the right option, BrightFunded's support team is available to help.

BrightFunded Unveils Permanent 15% Evaluation Profit Reward

BrightFunded has announced a new permanent feature for its traders. Effective immediately, all challenges from the firm will now include a "15% Evaluation Profit Reward." This initiative aims to acknowledge and reward traders' hard work from day one. This reward means traders not only work towards getting funded but also earn profits during the evaluation phase. The 15% of profits generated in this stage will be kept by the trader, making every challenge more rewarding from the start. The integration of this reward is permanent, requiring no promo codes or limited-time offers. It applies across all challenge levels and sizes, allowing traders to earn more as they demonstrate their capabilities.

BrightFunded: MetaTrader 5 Switching Now Available

BrightFunded has announced a key new feature for its users. Traders can now switch their trading platform to MetaTrader 5 (MT5). This update enhances flexibility, complementing the existing ability to switch between DXtrade and cTrader. The company aims to offer greater freedom in choosing trading tools. To switch to MetaTrader 5, users should access the 'Challenge Metrics' section within their Dashboard. From there, simply click 'Upgrade' and select the desired platform.

BrightFunded Modifies Daily Drawdown Calculation Starting September 22nd

BrightFunded announces a change to the daily drawdown calculation for its 2-step challenge, effective Monday, September 22nd at 11:00 AM CET. The new calculation will be the greater of the end-of-day equity or end-of-day balance, minus 5% of the initial account balance. This adjustment aims to optimize the monetization of top-performing traders and encourage timely profit-taking. Accounts purchased before the specified date and time will remain under the old calculation; those purchased afterward will follow the new one.

BrightFunded Adds PayPal as Payment Method
