Funding Traders Launches FT Prime: Redefining Prop Firm Dynamics with Real Capital
Funding Traders has officially launched FT Prime, an innovative funded trading program designed for experienced traders. This new offering positions itself as a distinct alternative to traditional prop firms, emphasizing real capital backing and a complete alignment of interests with its traders from day one. What is FT Prime? FT Prime is built for seasoned traders who have already demonstrated a consistent edge in the markets. Unlike many conventional prop firms that may profit from trader failures, FT Prime operates with a different model: it is backed by real capital through a partner liquidity provider, completely eliminating the typical conflict of interest. The firm's success is directly tied to its traders' success. Real Capital, Real Performance While traders engage with a professional-grade simulated account—a standard practice across regulated firms—FT Prime's differentiator lies in what happens behind the scenes. Trader performance on these accounts triggers a real capital commitment from Funding Traders' partner liquidity provider. This provider manages genuine market exposure based on trader activity, ensuring that rewards are generated from a business model where winning traders directly contribute to the firm's profitability, rather than losses being absorbed internally. Pricing Reflects Value The cost of FT Prime accounts is notably higher than that of typical prop firm challenges. This pricing strategy is a direct reflection of the operational costs associated with running a prop firm backed by real capital and genuinely aligned with trader success. Funding Traders states that this pricing structure is proof of its commitment to a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship, moving away from models where low fees might imply an expectation of trader failure. How to Qualify: The Prime Access Evaluation To gain access to an FT Prime account, traders must successfully complete the "Prime Access" evaluation. This evaluation involves trading a simulated account with a capital of $100,000 and adhering to specific performance and risk parameters: Profit Target: Achieve a 10% profit. Daily Drawdown: Maintain a maximum of 3%. Overall Drawdown: Stay within a 10% maximum. Max Risk per Trade Idea: Limit risk to 2%. Time Limit: No time limit, provided at least one trade is placed every 30 days. Upon successful completion, activation of the Prime Access Account opens the pathway to earning rewards under this new model. For more detailed insights into the philosophy behind FT Prime, traders are encouraged to read the company's manifesto and explore the program further on the official website.
Funding Traders Unveils "REVIVE": Recover Your Phase 1 Progress
Funding Traders has announced the launch of "REVIVE," a new feature designed to allow traders to maintain their progress in prop firm challenges, even after a rule violation. Previously, traders who accumulated significant profits in Phase 1 of a challenge could lose all their progress due to a single rule breach, despite maintaining an overall positive profit. The REVIVE feature addresses this issue. If a trader breaches their Phase 1 account but is still in overall profit, REVIVE allows them to continue their 2-Step Professional Challenge from their achieved profit level, without needing to restart. This ensures trading progress is preserved, and the cost of REVIVE scales according to the trader's advancement level. It is important to note that REVIVE is only available for Phase 1 of the challenge, and each account is limited to one recovery action.
