TradesViz: information and detailed review

TradesViz is the most feature-packed trading journal on this list, at one of the lowest prices. It has hundreds of stats and charts, artificial intelligence, a market simulator and, most interesting for you, a system that monitors the rules of 20 prop firms, already configured.

The most useful part: your prop firms' rules

TradesViz comes with profiles holding the exact rules of 20 prop firms, with several account sizes and their phases:

• Futures: Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, My Funded Futures, Tradeify, TradeDay, Elite Trader Funding, Earn2Trade, Take Profit Trader, Bulenox, UProfit, OneUp Trader, Phidias, Top One Futures and BluSky Trading.
• Forex and other markets: FTMO, FundedNext, The5ers, FunderPro, FXIFY and Funded Trading Plus.

You pick your firm and account, and TradesViz calculates whether you comply: drawdown by type (end of day, intraday, static or the kind that locks at the starting balance), daily loss, target, minimum days and consistency rule. It is on the Pro and Platinum plans.

Compatible platforms

It syncs automatically with over 60 brokers and platforms. The ones that matter most to a prop firm trader:

• MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, TradeLocker, Tradovate, Rithmic, NinjaTrader and Sierra Chart.
• TradingView and platforms traded through it.

DXtrade, Match-Trader and ProjectX are not on its sync list. Before paying, use the free trial to check whether it accepts your platform's file.

• What people like: the number of features, the price and a team that replies quickly and adds improvements.
• It takes time to learn: this comes up even in good reviews.
• Import errors, mainly from stock and options brokers: data that does not match and missing commissions. A futures trader, on the other hand, says it works very well with their accounts.
• Charges after cancelling in two reviews. If you cancel, keep the confirmation.

Verdict

For a prop firm trader, TradesViz is probably the journal that gives the most for the least money: rules for 20 firms already configured, sync with the most used futures platforms and a huge number of stats for $19.99 a month. In return, it takes time to learn and you should check that imported data adds up.

Who it is for: futures or forex traders with several prop firm accounts who want to monitor their rules without paying much.

Who it is not for: anyone wanting something simple and quick to use, or anyone trading on DXtrade or Match-Trader who wants automatic sync.
