TradeZella review
TradeZella is one of the most popular trading journals among prop firm traders. It imports your trades, shows stats on what you do well and badly, and adds backtesting, trade replay and artificial intelligence. It also has a free dashboard to track how much you spend on evaluations and how much you receive in payouts.

How it works
- Connect your account or upload a file with your trades.
- TradeZella turns them into an automatic journal: each trade with its chart, result and notes.
- You tag them (setup, mistake, emotion) and group them into playbooks, your strategies.
- Reports tell you which days, hours, symbols or setups make you win or lose.
- Zella AI answers questions about your data and drafts your daily plan.
Compatible platforms
Its official list includes over 50 brokers and platforms. The ones that matter most to a prop firm trader:
- Automatic sync: MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, DXtrade, TradeLocker, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, TopstepX.
- File upload only: Match-Trader, ProjectX, Quantower, Sierra Chart, ATAS, and FTMO history.
If your platform is not listed, its help center explains how to convert the file to TradeZella's format using an AI like Claude or ChatGPT.
PropFirm Sync: the most useful part for prop firm traders
It is a free feature included in every plan that brings all your prop firm accounts into one dashboard:
- What you spend and what you earn: every evaluation, reset and activation against every payout, to see your real profit.
- Active accounts: drawdown and progress toward the target for each one.
- Why you fail: the most common reasons you lose an account.
- Automatic payment detection by linking your bank, for now with 10 firms, mostly futures: Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, Bulenox, Top One Futures, My Funded Futures, FundedNext, Alpha Futures and Lucid Trading. For the rest, you log it manually.

There is no free plan. Note: the Essential plan only supports one account. If you run several prop firm accounts at once, you need Pro. And under its terms of service, it does not give refunds: all payments are final. If you will not use it, cancel before it renews. Anyone who subscribed before 14 July 2026 keeps their old price as long as they do not cancel.

TradeZella is one of the most complete and convenient journals, and its PropFirm Sync is exactly what someone buying lots of evaluations needs: knowing whether they actually make money from prop firms. Its downside is the price, with no free plan, and the cheap plan supporting only one account.
Who it is for: traders with several prop firm accounts who want clear stats and to track their spending.
Who it is not for: beginners with a single account and a small budget, or anyone trading on a platform not on its list.
