TraderSync review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded3 min read

TraderSync is a cloud trading journal that imports your trades, shows you stats and adds a simulator to replay the market and an artificial intelligence assistant called Cypher. It has been around for years and is well known among US stock and futures traders.

We read its pricing page, its compatible broker list, its refund policy and 214 of its 324 Trustpilot reviews.

How it works

  1. Connect your account so it imports automatically, or upload a file.
  2. Each trade goes into your journal with chart, result and notes.
  3. Stats show where you win and where you lose.
  4. The simulator lets you replay past market sessions to practise.
  5. Cypher, its AI, analyses your trades and suggests improvements.
  6. There is a mobile app.

Compatible platforms

Its list has almost 500 brokers and platforms, and marks which ones sync automatically. The ones that matter to a prop firm trader:

  • Automatic sync: MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, NinjaTrader, TradeLocker and Tradovate.
  • File upload only: DXtrade, Match-Trader, ProjectX, TopstepX, Rithmic, Quantower, Sierra Chart and ATAS.

Source: its broker list, in the archived July 2026 copy (its website blocks automated reading).

Its website does not advertise prop firm-specific features, such as tracking drawdown or evaluation spending.

Pricing

Plan Monthly Paying yearly Accounts Includes
Pro $29.95 $269.52 ($22.46 a month) 5 Journal, trade replay, simulator with minute data, 5 AI messages a day
Premium $49.95 $449.52 ($37.46 a month) 20 or unlimited Simulator with second data, 15 AI messages a day
Elite $79.95 $719.52 ($59.96 a month) 50 or unlimited Simulator every 250 milliseconds, 60 AI messages a day

Two warnings:

  • Its website contradicts itself on accounts: one part says Premium and Elite are unlimited, and the table says 20 and 50.
  • It gives no refunds. Its policy says all payments are final. Make good use of the 7-day trial before paying.

What users say

TraderSync scores 4.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 324 reviews. But nine in ten five-star reviews arrive through direct links and are from 2024 and 2025. The 2026 reviews, only 23, are almost all negative. Our review analysis above breaks it down.

  • Calculation errors, especially when converting currencies in commissions and profits.
  • A mandatory 2026 redesign that, according to one user, erased their notes and chart drawings.
  • Buggy features in the expensive plans, such as replay.
  • Support that passes issues to the development team and takes weeks.
  • Older reviews praise automatic sync, stats and service.

Verdict

TraderSync syncs well with the most common forex platforms and has a powerful simulator. But 2026 reviews describe data errors after its redesign, and it does not give refunds. If you try it, use the 7-day trial to check your numbers add up.

Who it is for: MetaTrader, cTrader or Tradovate traders who want a journal with a simulator and a mobile app.

Who it is not for: anyone trading on DXtrade, Match-Trader or Rithmic who wants automatic sync, and anyone looking for prop firm-specific features.

Alternatives

  • TradeZella: with a free dashboard to track prop firm spending and payouts.
  • TradesViz: lots of stats for less money.
  • Edgewonk: focused on psychology and mistakes.
Review analysis

What people say about TraderSync on Trustpilot

We read 214 of its 324 reviews (the 200 most recent plus every 1 to 4 star review. only 23 are from 2026), on 9 October 2026.

4.2 Trustpilot score
3.2 Based on what they say
Features 3.8

Journal, market replay simulator with Level II and tape, an AI assistant and a mobile app. But several users say the expensive plans' features, like replay, are too buggy.

See review
★★★★★“The basic journal works well. But many premium and elite features are simply unusable. Replay is so buggy”
Reliability 3.0

2026 reviews are almost all negative: stats calculated wrongly, especially with currency conversion, failing syncs and a mandatory redesign that, according to one user, erased their notes and chart drawings.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“lately they forced me to start using their new redesigned platform and its terrible. 1. All the trades I journaled with markings and notes on the chart are all gone”
★★★★★“TraderSync is applying the wrong currency base to both auto and manual trades, messing up commissions, fees, profit calculations”
Value for money 3.0

$29.95 to $79.95 a month, with a 7-day trial. Its terms say no payment is refundable, and that is the most repeated point in critical reviews.

See review
★★★★★“because there are absolutely no refunds, you must carefully evaluate all features during your free trial”
Ease of use 3.6

Many 2024 and 2025 reviews highlight how easy it is to import and see stats. Critics describe a slow, complex website.

See review
★★★★★“The app looks nice but it's super complex with a rather poor UX.”
Support 2.8

Well rated in older reviews. In 2026, complaints about issues passed to the development team and not fixed for weeks.

See review
★★★★★“When you contact support they reply to say they are working on it, and then weeks pass and still nothing is done.”
Transparency 2.8

It publishes prices and a broker list marking which ones sync automatically. But its website contradicts itself on accounts per plan, and nine in ten five-star reviews arrive through direct links.

What people like

  • Syncs MT4, MT5, cTrader, NinjaTrader, TradeLocker and Tradovate
  • Market simulator with Level II
  • Mobile app

What people criticise

  • No refunds
  • Stats and currency conversion bugs
  • 2026 redesign with complaints
  • No prop firm-specific features on its website

Nine in ten five-star reviews arrive through direct links, mostly from accounts with one or two reviews, and almost all are from 2024 and 2025. The 2026 reviews, much more critical, better reflect the current state.
