Day one
The entry point reveals two different philosophies. Goat Funded Trader is a generalist firm offering Forex, Indices, and Commodities across multiple platforms (MT5, cTrader, MatchTrader, TradeLocker). Mubite is a specialist, focusing exclusively on Crypto through ByBit, which is ideal for those who trade 24/7 but limiting for those seeking traditional markets.
- Pricing: For a $100,000 account, GFT is more accessible. Its 1-Step challenge costs $698, while Mubite’s One-Step is priced at $819.
- Evaluation Rules: GFT requires 3 profitable days (0.5% profit) for evaluations. Mubite is stricter, requiring 10 trading days for its One-Step and Two-Step (Phase 1) evaluations.
- Leverage: Both offer 100:1 leverage, though GFT limits this to evaluation phases (dropping to 50:1 on funded accounts), whereas Mubite maintains high leverage for crypto.
- Platforms: GFT offers five different platforms; Mubite uses the ByBit ecosystem (Cleo).
The first months
Once funded, the "friction" of each firm’s rules begins to impact your cash flow.
- Payout Restrictions: This is a major differentiator. While GFT has a $100 minimum withdrawal, Mubite imposes a maximum withdrawal cap of 5% of the account size per request. If you have a $100k account and make $10k profit, you can only withdraw $5k at a time.
- The 2-Minute Rule: GFT traders must be careful with execution; any trade closed in less than 120 seconds is considered invalid. Mubite does not have a hard time limit but prohibits "tick scalping" with manipulative intent.
- News Trading: Mubite is more permissive here, allowing news trading without specific profit caps. GFT restricts profits from trades opened/closed around high-impact news to 1% of the account balance.
- Refunds: GFT refunds your fee after the 4th payout. Mubite refunds it after the 1st payout (Two-Step only).
The first year
For a trader staying active for 12 months, the scaling programs define the professional experience.
Goat Funded Trader Scaling (Requirements: 2-6 months and 4-15 payouts):
- Level 1: 15% capital boost and 90% profit split.
- Level 2: 30% capital boost and weekly payouts.
- Level 3: 40% capital boost, 92% split, and a monthly salary ($300-$500).
- Level 4: 50% capital boost, 95% split, and a free challenge if the account is failed.
Mubite Scaling (Requirements: 10% profit within 90-120 days):
- Instant Funding: If you hit 10% profit, 5% is paid out and the account size is doubled.
- Evaluations: 25% growth every time you hit a cumulative 10% profit, up to twice the starting size.
While Mubite allows for faster capital doubling in its Instant model, GFT offers a career-like structure with a guaranteed monthly salary and a profit split that reaches 95%, making it more attractive for long-term stability.
The ceiling
The maximum capital you can manage at Goat Funded Trader is $400,000 (excluding Pakistan). They allow account merging and have a "Goat Guard" system that protects the account by automatically closing trades at 2% loss to prevent total breaches.
Mubite has a lower initial allocation ceiling of $300,000. However, their Instant Funding scaling is technically more aggressive, as accounts can theoretically reach $1,000,000 through the "doubling" mechanic, though this requires consistent 10% gains without breaching their "Smart Drawdown" (a trailing-style loss limit that locks at 5% below your milestone balance).
Room to grow
GFT offers a more traditional and diversified growth path. Its "Points Program" (1 point per $1 spent) allows traders to buy extra leverage or drawdown, creating a gamified loyalty experience. The inclusion of a monthly salary at higher levels makes it a superior choice for those looking to treat prop trading as a primary job.
Mubite is the better choice for crypto-native traders who want to scale capital quickly without the 2-minute restriction and who prefer the ByBit environment. However, the 5% withdrawal cap and the focus on a single asset class mean the "room to grow" is narrower in terms of market variety but potentially higher in raw capital if the aggressive Instant scaling is utilized.
