Bybit Card review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded4 min read

The Bybit Card is the card of the Bybit crypto exchange. It pays straight from your Bybit funding account: you hold USDT, USDC or euros there, pay with the card and Bybit converts what is needed at that moment. It claims over 3 million users.

We read its official card page, its official fee and limit tables (global and European), its cashback programme and 761 of its 7,757 Trustpilot reviews.

An important warning for traders

In September and October 2026, Bybit's reviews filled up with the same problem: accounts restricted after receiving or sending small amounts of USDT that its system flags as of "abnormal origin". We are talking about deposits of $25, $115 or $250. When the account is restricted, the card stops working, and reviews last weeks with no timeline.

If you receive your payouts in USDT, bear in mind that your card depends on your exchange account staying clean. Do not keep all your money there.

Who is behind it

Bybit is one of the largest exchanges in the world. The card works differently depending on where you live:

  • In Europe, it is provided by Bybit EU and issued by Harmoniie SAS, an electronic money institution authorised by the Bank of France (ACPR), under Moorwand Ltd's Mastercard licence.
  • Outside Europe, it is provided by global Bybit, with different fee tables for each region. Its website does not name the issuer for each one.

The global page warns that its card is not for European Economic Area residents: they must apply through Bybit EU.

How it works

  • Virtual card instantly, with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Physical card in most regions, except Peru.
  • It spends from your funding account. If you pay with crypto instead of fiat, it charges 0.9% conversion.
  • Automatic interest on the available balance, according to its website.
  • Mandatory identity verification.

Where you can get it

  • Europe: the European Economic Area, through Bybit EU.
  • Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Peru (virtual only).
  • Others: Australia, Georgia, Kazakhstan (through the AIFC financial centre) and part of Asia-Pacific.

It is not available in the United States, Colombia or Chile.

Fees

Item Europe (Bybit EU) Rest of the world

Paying in another currency 0.5% 2% generally; 1.5% in Brazil; 1% in Peru; 7% in Argentina

In Europe it is one of the cheapest on this list. In Argentina, by contrast, the 7% for paying in another currency makes it very expensive.

Cashback

  • In Europe: 1% with no monthly cap for everyone. VIPs get 2% to 10% with caps.
  • Outside Europe: six tiers, from 2% to 10%, based on your VIP level or monthly spend. But the base tier has a 5 USDT monthly cap: the 2% only applies to the first $250 of spending. Reaching 10% requires VIP Supreme or spending over $25,500 a month.

Cashback only counts when you pay with crypto, not fiat. New cardholders get 10% for 30 days, up to 110 USDT.

Limits

They vary a lot by region. For example, in Asia-Pacific the base tier allows $10,000 a day and $50,000 a month, and in Argentina $5,000 a day. At ATMs, the norm is $1,000 to $3,000 a day.

What users say

Bybit scores 2.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 7,757 reviews, and Trustpilot shows a high-risk investment notice. These are reviews of the whole exchange: 53 of those we read mention the card. Our review analysis above breaks it down.

  • Restricted accounts over small deposits, with the card blocked. A user with 6 years on Bybit says they lived on their card alone and had their account closed over $115.
  • Withdrawn cards: in Serbia, a newly received physical card was cancelled due to a programme change; in Lithuania, another was cancelled under European rules while its owner was travelling.
  • Unauthorised charges and thefts of card balances.
  • Those without problems say it works well day to day.

Verdict

On paper, the Bybit Card is very good in Europe: no fees, 0.5% currency exchange and 1% uncapped cashback. Outside Europe it is more expensive and its cashback, without VIP status, is almost symbolic.

The real problem is not the card but the account: in 2026 Bybit is freezing accounts over small deposits, and the card goes down with them.

Who it is for: European residents already trading on Bybit who want to spend their balance with low fees.

Who it is not for: anyone receiving USDT from many different sources, anyone needing the card as their main payment method and anyone living in Argentina.

Alternatives

  • Nexo Card: no fees in Europe, with credit mode.
  • Wirex: free physical card in Europe, regulated in Spain and the UK.
  • RedotPay: widely used in Latin America.

What people say about Bybit Card on Trustpilot

We read 761 of its 7757 reviews (reviews of the whole bybit exchange, not just the card: mainly the most recent 1 to 4 star reviews. 53 mention the card), on 9 October 2026.

2.5 Trustpilot score
2.7 Based on what they say
Features 3.4

It spends straight from the exchange account, with cashback and interest on the balance. But in 2026 Bybit changed its card programme in some countries and withdrew newly issued physical cards, and in the EU there were cancellations due to the new rules.

★★★★★“about a month later Bybit informed me that the card program was being changed and that my recently issued card would be discontinued”
★★★★★“My bybit card was canceled while I was abroad because of mica rules. I was left stranded abroad.”
Reliability 2.0

The dominant complaint of September and October 2026: accounts restricted after receiving or sending small amounts of USDT the system flags as suspicious. When the account is restricted the card stops working, and some lived on it alone.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“I was an active user for 6 years and literally lived using only the Bybit Card. As a result, because of $115 [...] they permanently banned my account.”
★★★★★“my Bybit card also not working. I have around $25,000 on account and I can't access this money.”
Value for money 3.0

In Europe it is cheap: 0.5% currency exchange and 0.9% to convert crypto. Elsewhere exchange rises to 2%, and 7% in Argentina. The 2% cashback for non-VIPs is capped at 5 USDT a month.

See review
★★★★★“I deposited 500USDT, bough item for 473.93 and they took for it 484.69”
Ease of use 3.4

The virtual card is instant and can be added to Apple Pay and Google Pay. Some users complain they cannot get it and that the physical card only reaches some countries.

See review
★★★★★“the one thing that really annoys me is the Bybit card process. I have been unable to get my card”
Support 1.8

It replies to almost every review, but compliance cases are closed without a specific explanation or timeline. Several users say nobody asks them for documents for weeks.

See review
★★★★★“BYBIT CLOSED MY COMPLAINT WITHOUT PROVIDING A SPECIFIC EXPLANATION”
Transparency 2.6

It publishes very complete fee and limit tables by region, and in Europe names the regulated issuer. But its blog articles give figures that differ from the official ones, and Trustpilot shows a high-risk investment notice.
