Duplikium review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded11 min read

Duplikium is a cloud trade copier built mainly for forex and CFD accounts. You trade on one account, the "master", and Duplikium copies every order to your other accounts, the "slaves", even when they sit at different brokers and on different platforms. That is its strength: it can copy from cTrader to MetaTrader 5, or from MetaTrader 4 to DXtrade, which few copiers do.

We read its entire help center (458 articles, including the 80 that explain each error code), its terms, its pricing and platform pages, the 148 Trustpilot reviews you can read without an account and the copy trading rules of seventeen prop firms. Reddit barely talks about it: when we searched, almost every result was about software for deleting duplicate files.

Who is behind it

Duplikium SA is a Swiss company based in Neuchâtel, registered under CHE-433.550.864. It has operated since 2013 and says it was founded by Swiss banking engineers. Its servers are in Frankfurt, London, Singapore and the US East Coast.

What to know from its terms before paying:

  • It does not cover losses. Its terms exclude any liability for technical failures, outages, overloads or maintenance. Its help center says it plainly: use is "at the client's own risk", and it is up to you to check that trades are copied.
  • It asks you to monitor it. Its terms say it is a trading aid, not a system that runs on its own, and that you are responsible for setting up your own monitoring to catch failures.
  • There is no service guarantee at weekends. That is when maintenance happens.
  • There are no refunds. You can cancel any time, but you get nothing back. They email you 4 days before each renewal.

It is not a broker and does not provide signals. It says it needs no licence because it only provides a technical service.

How it works

Everything runs on its servers. You install nothing, need no VPS and can switch your computer off. You add your accounts with their login, password and broker server, choose which one is the master and which ones copy, and set how each trade size is calculated.

  • Where you trade from. From your master account's usual platform, including on your phone. Duplikium's panel has no app, but it adapts to your phone's browser and lets you close trades manually.
  • Read-only password. On the master you can use MetaTrader's investor password, which only lets it watch. Slaves need the full password, because it has to trade.
  • Speed. It says its internal delay is 1 to 3 milliseconds. What adds the most is the broker and distance, which is why you can pick the server closest to your broker. If you have many slaves at the same broker, it warns that some will be slightly later, so that the broker does not reject a burst of orders sent at once.
  • It only copies new trades. Trades already open on the master when you connect the accounts are not copied.
  • Manual trades on a slave are left alone. If you open something by hand on a slave, the copier ignores it. If you close something it copied, it treats it as closed.
  • If a failure leaves an order uncopied, it cannot be retried from the panel: you have to deal with it on the account itself.
Duplikium copy settings: each account's risk factor and the switches for copying pending orders, stop loss and take profit
Image: Duplikium, from its guided tour. Each setting can be defined globally, per account or per symbol.

Which accounts it works with

Platform What you should know
MetaTrader 4 and 5 Over 2,000 brokers. If your broker's server is missing, they add it on request
cTrader All cTrader brokers
DXtrade Since September 2024. FTMO, MyFundedFX and Instant Funding block DXtrade connections, so those accounts cannot be added
Tradovate and NinjaTrader Labelled beta on its website. Pending orders, stop loss and take profit are not copied: a market order is sent when they fill on the master
TradingView Only as a way to trade an MT4, MT5, cTrader or FXCM master connected to TradingView
FXCM, LMAX, Fortex and FIX API For brokers and professional use. Fortex is also in beta

And what it does not support: Match-Trader and TradeLocker, two platforms widely used by CFD prop firms. Its help center suggests looking for firms that offer cTrader or DXtrade.

It copies any instrument your broker offers: forex, indices, commodities, crypto or futures. Accounts can be in different currencies, and you can mix live and demo accounts.

How it sizes trades

This is the hardest part to grasp at first, and the source of most questions in its reviews. There are four methods:

  • Auto Risk. The slave risks the same as the master in proportion to its size. If the master has $1,000 and the slave $500, for every lot on the master the slave opens half. It can be based on balance, equity or free margin.
  • Lot multiplier. Multiplies the master's size by the number you set.
  • Notional multiplier. The same, but it corrects for different contract sizes between brokers.
  • Fixed lot. Always the same size.

With a negative value, the slave opens the opposite trade. Careful: several firms forbid exactly this, as you will see below.

Every setting can also be defined globally, per account or per symbol, and templates let you reuse configurations. You can filter which symbols are copied, copy only buys or only closes, set limits on trades per day, a maximum size per position, copy hours, a maximum delay or a fixed stop loss different from the master's. If the size exceeds the broker's maximum, it splits the order into up to 10 parts.

Which orders it copies

On MetaTrader and cTrader it copies market orders, pending orders (limit and stop), stop loss, take profit, partial closes and modifications. You can choose whether pending orders, stops and targets are placed on the slave from the start or whether the slave only reacts when they fill on the master.

Two cases change this:

  • Netting accounts, where there is only one position per symbol, such as NinjaTrader and Tradovate. There the stop and target cannot be placed on the slave: it closes at market when they trigger on the master.
  • The master's trailing stop is only updated on the slave while your platform is open. If you close it, the slave closes at market when the stop triggers on the master.

There is no slippage protection. Its help center says that, being fast, slippage is small, but it can always happen.

The protections

  • Equity protection per account. Daily loss in money or percentage, drop from the day's high, daily profit target, and overall equity limits. When hit, it stops copying, copies only closes, or closes everything and stops copying, as you choose.
  • Email alerts if an account disconnects or an order fails. They are off by default: you have to switch them on.
  • Sync check. Its help center says it looks for differences between master and slave and opens or closes positions on the slave to match. It also admits it cannot guarantee 100% sync.
  • "Close only" mode. To stop opening new trades without abandoning open ones.

Pricing and terms

There are two ways to pay, and you can mix them in the same panel.

Accounts Subscription (per account per month) Prepay (per account per day)
1 to 10 €9.00 €0.50
11 to 25 €8.50 €0.45
26 to 50 €8.00 €0.40
51 to 100 €7.50 €0.35
101 to 500 €7.00 €0.30
501 to 1,000 €6.50 €0.25
Over 1,000 €6.00 €0.20

Master and slaves count the same. With one master and four slaves you pay for five accounts: €45 a month. The subscription gets cheaper if you pay quarterly or yearly.

Extras:

  • Static IP per account, for firms that require it: shared €2 a month (€0.07 a day on prepay) or dedicated €5 a month (€0.17 a day). By default, each account's IP changes.
  • Dedicated server in London or the US East Coast, from €140 a month billed yearly.
  • Trade Copier API, to build your own dashboard or sell signals.

Worth reading twice:

  • The trial is €30 of prepay credit, no card and no expiry date, with every feature. It asks you to verify your phone by SMS. With two accounts it lasts 30 days; with five, 12.
  • On prepay, each account reserves server resources for at least three days. If you disconnect an account for two days and reconnect it, those two days are charged. And deleting and re-adding the same account counts as two.
  • There are no refunds.
  • There are public coupons: 10% off the first purchase and 5% for existing customers, according to its own help center. They also apply to renewals.

What prop firms say

Duplikium connecting to your account does not mean you are allowed to use it. This is what the official rules say at the CFD firms we track:

Firm Copy trading What you need to know
E8 Markets Allowed Between your own accounts, including personal ones
FundedNext Contradictory Its help center allows it between accounts of the same person; its terms forbid it without written authorisation
The5ers Allowed between your accounts Copying other traders or accounts is forbidden
FundingPips Allowed between your accounts Only between FundingPips accounts in your name
Fintokei Allowed with caveats You can copy your own trades from other firms or brokers. Reverse copying is forbidden
BrightFunded Allowed between your accounts Only accounts of the same person
Blue Guardian Allowed between your accounts Forbidden in its competitions
AquaFunded Allowed To manage your own AquaFunded accounts
Atmos Funded Allowed From your own account, without exploiting latency
Funded Trader Markets Allowed Also from other firms or brokers, if the trades are yours
Finotive Allowed Commercial copiers for your own trades
The Trading Pit Allowed between your accounts Watch out for coordinated hedging across accounts and firms
Blueberry Funded Allowed between your accounts Copying third-party accounts is forbidden
PineX Capital Allowed between your accounts No EAs allowed (see the note below)
Goat Funded Trader Almost forbidden Only between funded accounts. Not evaluation to evaluation, nor evaluation to funded
Dolvero Forbidden Not even between Dolvero accounts
Fundex Restricted No trading from VPS or datacenter IPs

Source: each firm's help center or official terms, checked on 8 October 2026. Rules change: check your firm's page before copying.

Three details the table does not tell on its own:

  • Duplikium connects from its servers. Slave orders come from datacenter IPs, which change unless you pay for a static IP. Firms like Fundex link VPS and datacenter IPs with copy trading farms.
  • On MetaTrader, copied trades show up as placed by an EA. Its help center says so: they are tagged with an "Expert ID". At firms that do not allow EAs, such as PineX Capital, that can be a problem even when copy trading is allowed.
  • Reverse copying is the most dangerous setting. Opening the opposite trade on another account is hedging across accounts, and many firms forbid it. Fintokei names it explicitly.

FTMO, according to Duplikium's help center, works on cTrader, MT4 and MT5, but not on DXtrade.

What users say

It scores 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 177 reviews, and the company does not invite reviews. Our review analysis above breaks it down.

What comes up most:

  • Chat support is the most praised part. Many reviews thank an agent who set up the accounts with them.
  • The interface is hard. Even four and five star reviews say so. It is powerful, but it has many settings spread across several levels.
  • The failures are specific. Unnoticed disconnections, trades not copied for hours and, in 2026, doubled positions or positions opened on funded accounts that the master never had.
  • The company almost always blames the broker. It replies to almost every review, but answers reliability complaints with the same paragraph.
  • With many accounts it gets expensive. One happy customer compares it with Tradecopia: with 20 accounts, the flat-price copier works out cheaper. The same user says Take Profit Trader does not approve it.

How to use it well

  1. Start with the free trial and demo accounts before connecting a funded account.
  2. Turn on the email alerts for disconnections and failed orders.
  3. Pick the server closest to your broker in the global settings.
  4. Test sizing with pending orders far from the price before trading for real, as its own support recommends.
  5. Do not use reverse copying with prop firm accounts.
  6. Set equity protection on every slave, below its firm's daily limit.
  7. Check the list of copied orders daily, where the reason for each failure is shown.
  8. If your firm requires a static IP, buy it before connecting the account.

Alternatives

Verdict

Duplikium is probably the most complete and flexible copier for mixing CFD platforms: it copies between MetaTrader, cTrader and DXtrade, has a setting for almost everything and has been running for over ten years. Its chat support genuinely helps you set it up, and the no-card free trial lets you test it before paying.

In exchange, it takes time to learn, gets expensive with many accounts, does not connect Match-Trader or TradeLocker, and its futures support is still in beta. Its terms make clear it is liable for nothing and that monitoring is your job. Use it with alerts on and at firms that allow copying.

Who it is for: CFD traders with accounts at several firms or brokers on MetaTrader, cTrader or DXtrade, who want fine control over size and risk and do not mind spending time on setup.

Who it is not for: anyone with Match-Trader or TradeLocker accounts, anyone who mainly trades futures, and anyone looking for something that works in two clicks.

Review analysis

What people say about Duplikium on Trustpilot

We read 148 of its 177 reviews (every review trustpilot shows without an account, from june 2022 to september 2026), on 8 October 2026.

4.6 Trustpilot score
3.8 Based on what they say
Features 4.5

Most valued: copying between different platforms (cTrader to MT5, for example, which few tools do), equity protection per account, per-symbol settings, reverse copying and a dedicated server for speed. Nobody misses features; the complaints lie elsewhere.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“Very stable and lots of useful settings, especially equity stop loss and take profit.”
★★★★★“I regularly test other solutions, but Duplikium is currently the most complete and efficient trade copier.”
Reliability 3.4

Many say it copies fast and accurately, sometimes to the tick. But reliability complaints are specific and recurring since 2023: unnoticed disconnections, trades not copied for hours and, in 2026, doubled positions or positions opened on followers that the leader never had. The company almost always blames the broker or a wrong setting.

See 3 reviews
★★★★★“Copying from master to slave is lightning fast. I'll check the slave for entry match to the master and most of the time is exact”
★★★★★“it often drops the connection, and there is no way of knowing until you realise your trade has not been copied.”
★★★★★“I've had trades doubled into my funded account. I've had trades open in my funded accounts that I did not place from my master account.”
Value for money 3.7

Paying per account divides opinion. With few accounts or the daily plan it is reasonable; with many, several find it expensive compared with flat-price copiers like Tradecopia. There are complaints about charges for disconnected accounts, which its help center explains: server resources are reserved for at least three days.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“a bit expensive compared to Trade Copia which works out cheaper for non-cloud connection with 20 accounts.”
★★★★★“Pay as you go daily or monthly payment option which is really cool.”
Ease of use 3.3

Its clearest weak spot, admitted even in 5 star reviews: the interface has so many settings that it is hard to grasp at first. Several users needed support to configure trade sizing. Those who get past that phase say it runs smoothly afterwards.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“The user interface Isn't beginner friendly and I struggled to figure it out, but the staff were super helpful and set things right”
★★★★★“The UI isn't very user friendly in my opinion in comparison to traderconnect but the support is 5/5.”
Support 4.4

Six in ten 5 star reviews mention support, and one in five names a chat agent, mostly Jacob and Tony, who set up the accounts with the user. In negative reviews, support just opens a ticket, blames the broker or, in one case, treats the customer dismissively. Tickets are answered within 24 to 48 working hours.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“They even suggested a clever way to test the sizing risk-free, using pending orders, before going live.”
★★★★★“Everyday there's some issue and they just create tickets and doesn't actually resolve any issue”
Transparency 3.3

It replies to almost every review, and its help center details what it does not copy on each platform. But many replies to reliability complaints are the same pasted text, and several are defensive: it calls one criticism defamation and mocks a customer who kept paying. In one case it said 'Close By' was not supported, while its current help center says it is.

By rating

Positive · 4 and 5

More than half thank support, many after a chat session. Those about the product highlight speed, cross-platform copying and the number of settings. Several come from users with years of use.

Mixed · 3

Few and very similar: it works well and support helps, but the interface is hard and the price a bit high. Paying with crypto is described as cumbersome.

Negative · 1 and 2

Clustered in 2023 and again in 2026. Those from 2023 describe disconnections and uncopied trades between cTrader and MetaTrader; those from 2026, doubled or phantom positions on prop firm accounts and support that does not solve the issue.

How Duplikium replies

It replied to 145 of the 148 analysed reviews. It thanks positive ones and links tutorials. To negative ones it usually posts the same paragraph: disconnections can come from the broker, the network, the server or themselves. In specific cases it gives technical explanations, and sometimes admits and fixes a bug.

Repeated reply to disconnection complaints
“Temporary disconnections or instances where trades are not copied may occur from time to time. These issues can stem from various sources, including problems at the broker's end, network issues, proxy complications, server-related factors, or even issues on our side.”
To someone who called them a scam
“So we are NOT a scam company, and your claim is a defamation against our company.”
After fixing a 2 pip bug
“Thanks to have updated your review with a 5-stars after we made a fix about this issue.”

Can you trust these reviews?

Trustpilot states the company does not invite reviews, and almost all are organic. Even so, almost half of the 5 star reviews come from accounts with one or two reviews, and many only talk about a support chat: they measure service more than the copier. Negative reviews are detailed and consistent. There is no Trustpilot alert.
