Replikanto review

Researched and written by TheGodFunded10 min read

Replikanto is a trade copier that runs inside NinjaTrader 8. You trade on one account, the leader, and it copies every order to your other accounts, the followers, as long as they are connected to NinjaTrader: Rithmic, Tradovate, Interactive Brokers or any other broker NinjaTrader supports. It is not a cloud service or a subscription: it is software you buy once and run on your own computer.

We read its website, its entire help center (232 articles), its license terms, the 115 Trustpilot reviews of its company, FlowBots, that you can read without an account, around thirty Reddit threads and the copy trading rules of the futures prop firms we track.

Who is behind it

It is sold by FlowBots, active since 2017, which describes itself as a team of traders and developers building NinjaTrader add-ons. Its website does not give the company's legal name or where it is registered. Its support works on New York hours, and Replikanto comes in English and Portuguese.

What to know from its terms before paying:

  • You have 14 days to get a full refund, no questions asked. That is more generous than most copiers. There is only one refund per product and person, and support renewals are not refundable.
  • It is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect, caused by the software.
  • It requires you to monitor your accounts while trades are open.
  • It sends error reports identified by your computer's ID, without account numbers or orders, according to its terms.

What "lifetime" means

It is the most repeated complaint in its reviews, so it comes first. The "Lifetime" license never expires: the software keeps working forever with the version you have. But updates and support are only included for the first year. After that they cost $39 a year. Its help center says that, as a courtesy, new versions remain downloadable, but this is not guaranteed.

Several users say they feel misled by the word "lifetime". The company replies that it is explained on the purchase page and in the terms. Both are true: it is explained, but you have to read it.

How it works

You open a Replikanto tab in NinjaTrader, choose the leader account and the contract, and switch the followers on. Each tab copies one leader account on one contract; for another contract, you open another tab.

  • Windows only. NinjaTrader 8 only runs on Windows; on a Mac you need a virtual machine, and they do not support that. There is no mobile or web version.
  • NinjaTrader must stay open. If it closes or loses the broker connection, copying stops.
  • Where you trade from. NinjaTrader charts and SuperDOM, ATM and automated strategies, and also the Tradovate web or mobile apps and TradingView, if the leader is a Tradovate account.
  • Several brokers at once. To mix, say, Rithmic and Tradovate, you enable NinjaTrader's free multi-provider option.
  • Several computers. It can copy to another computer on your network or a remote one, such as a VPS. Each computer needs its own license, and copying over the internet uses credits.

Image: FlowBots. Each row is a follower with its own settings and a button to flatten its position.

Which accounts it works with

The rule is simple and its help center repeats it: if the account can connect to NinjaTrader, Replikanto can use it. Rithmic, Tradovate, Interactive Brokers, CQG and other NinjaTrader brokers, plus simulation and market replay accounts.

What it cannot use: ProjectX and TopStepX as separate platforms, Match-Trader, MetaTrader, Quantower or ATAS on their own. It works with futures and stocks, not MetaTrader forex.

How it sizes trades

It has seven methods, more than any other copier we have analysed:

  • Exact quantity: every follower copies the same number of contracts.
  • Pooled quantity: splits the leader's order between followers.
  • Ratio: each follower multiplies by its own number, from -100 to 100.
  • Pre allocation: each follower always gets the contracts you assign.
  • By account value, by available cash or as a percentage of the position: designed for stocks.

Watch out for two details:

  • It rounds down. With a 0.5 ratio, a 1-contract order on the leader becomes 0 on the follower and is not copied.
  • A negative ratio copies in reverse. The follower goes against the leader. Its own help center warns this is hedging across accounts, which most prop firms forbid.

On top of that, Cross Order copies between sizes of the same contract, for example ES on the leader and MES on the follower, across 36 futures families. And ATM Copy makes each follower manage its exit with your NinjaTrader ATM strategy, instead of copying exits one by one.

Which orders it copies

It copies market, limit, stop, stop limit and MIT orders, OCO brackets, stop and target moves and cancellations. With Market Only, it only copies what fills, at market: fewer errors and fewer Tradovate calls, in exchange for a different entry price.

Speed, according to its help center:

  • On the same computer: 10 to 200 milliseconds.
  • On your local network: 50 to 500.
  • Over the internet: 100 to 1,000.

They recommend no more than 20 followers per leader: beyond that, delay and the risk of mismatches rise. And they warn that slippage shows with very fast scalping.

The protections

  • Follower Guard. If a follower falls out of sync, goes opposite to the leader or has an order rejected by the broker, it can flatten it, disarm it and email you. Each protection is enabled separately.
  • Rithmic check. Before flattening a follower, it asks Rithmic again for the real position, because NinjaTrader sometimes shows positions the broker has already closed.
  • Settings lock during a trade, so a mid-trade change does not leave part of a position uncovered.
  • A button to flatten everything on the leader and its followers, including on other computers.

What it does not have: daily loss or profit limits. Its help center refers you to setting them at the broker.

Stealth mode and compliance mode

Two features worth knowing about if you have prop firm accounts:

  • Stealth Mode. Removes from copied orders the identifiers that show they come from Replikanto. The company presents it as an option for advanced users.
  • Compliance Mode. A free version for customers, built according to FlowBots "in collaboration with prop firms". It removes four things: internet copying, local network copying, negative ratios and stealth mode. Its page explains why: firms see them as "fraud vectors".

According to its help center, only two firms are currently listed as having explicitly approved Compliance Mode: Take Profit Trader and Elite Trader Funding. If you use prop firm accounts, our recommendation is clear: use that version.

Pricing and terms

License List price What it includes
Single Machine (Lifetime) $399 1 computer, forever; one year of support and updates
2 Machines (Lifetime) $499 2 computers, forever; one year of support and updates
Single Machine (1 year) $349 1 computer, one year
2 Machines (1 year) $399 2 computers, one year

They are on sale today: $299, $399, $249 and $299. Sales are common, and some users say they paid between $149 and $159.

Worth knowing:

  • One license covers every account in the same NinjaTrader. You pay per computer, not per account.
  • 7-day free trial, with 20 credits to test internet copying.
  • Extra computers: $200 lifetime or $100 a year each, up to six.
  • Internet copying uses credits. One credit per order per receiving computer: an entry with stop and target sent to three computers uses nine. Packs range from $15 for 100 to $250 for 10,000, and they never expire.
  • Renewing support and updates: $39 a year, never charged automatically.
  • Email-only support, Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm New York time.
  • Visa or Mastercard; PayPal only appears if the card fails. No crypto.

What prop firms say

Replikanto connecting to your account does not mean you are allowed to use it. This is what the official rules say at the futures firms we track:

Firm Copy trading What you need to know
Alpha Futures Allowed Only between your own accounts. They recommend the smallest account leads
Blue Guardian Futures Allowed, including external copiers Opposite positions across accounts are forbidden
E8 Futures Allowed Hedging across accounts is forbidden, even if they are all yours
FTMO Futures Allowed between your accounts Each account must follow its own rules
FundedNext Futures Allowed, including with other firms They may ask you to prove every account is yours
The5ers Futures Limited Only 25K and 50K accounts, up to $75,000 in total
Top One Futures Allowed Up to 10 or 20 accounts, depending on the plan
Earn2Trade Forbidden They can refuse accounts and withdrawals if you used a copier

Source: each firm's help center or official terms, checked on 8 October 2026. Rules change: check your firm's page before copying. And check that each account can connect to NinjaTrader.

The real risk is opposite positions. FlowBots' own help center explains how it happens: you close the leader, a follower does not close because of a dropout, you flip the leader, and the follower ends up holding a position in each direction. On Trustpilot and Reddit there are cases of prop firm accounts closed for this: five accounts in one case, and in another a 38-second hedge while switching from NQ to MNQ. The company replies that it can happen with or without a copier. Its advice, and ours: check that every account is flat before each entry.

What users say

FlowBots scores 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 127 reviews. But 103 of the 115 we read arrived through an invitation link, almost all are from 2026 and most thank support for a specific query. Our review analysis above breaks it down.

What comes up most:

  • Support gets involved, with days of follow-up until a problem is solved. But it is email only and during business hours, and some complain of only getting a link.
  • The "lifetime" license is complaint number one.
  • Serious but rare failures: a follower with triple the contracts, opposite positions when stops triggered, and 15 to 30 point differences on MNQ when trading from TradingView. The company blames duplicates on two connections to the same broker being open at once.
  • Reddit is divided. Some have used it without issues for years, while others moved to Tradecopia, Tradesyncer or CrossTrade over speed or failures.

How to use it well

  1. If you have prop firm accounts, install Compliance Mode.
  2. One connection per broker account in NinjaTrader, and one Replikanto tab per contract. It is the number one cause of duplicate orders.
  3. Turn on Follower Guard with flatten, disarm and email alert.
  4. Check that every account is flat before each entry, and never flip a position in one go.
  5. Use ratios of 1 or more, and never negative ones with prop firm accounts.
  6. Turn on Market Only if you use Tradovate with many accounts or move your stop a lot.
  7. Do not go beyond 20 followers per leader.
  8. Set daily limits at the broker, because Replikanto does not have them.

Alternatives

  • Tradecopia: can also run on your computer, connects Tradovate and Rithmic without NinjaTrader, and has daily risk limits. Subscription based.
  • Tradesyncer: cloud based, with a journal included, no need to keep your computer on.
  • Traders Connect: cloud based, and it also connects CFD accounts.
  • Your platform's own copier. If all your accounts are on Tradovate, its Group Trade is free.

Verdict

Replikanto is the most complete copier we have analysed for NinjaTrader: seven sizing methods, ATM strategy copying, mini to micro mapping and serious protections against mismatches. Its documentation is among the best, and the one-time payment with a 14-day refund window works in its favour.

In exchange, it ties you to Windows and an open NinjaTrader, has no daily loss limits, its "lifetime" does not include updates after the first year, and it has a stealth mode prop firms themselves frown upon. Use it, but in its Compliance Mode version, and only at firms that allow copying.

Who it is for: futures traders already on NinjaTrader in Windows, with several Rithmic or Tradovate accounts, who want plenty of sizing options and prefer to pay once.

Who it is not for: anyone trading on a Mac or from their phone, anyone who wants daily loss limits inside the copier, and anyone who does not want NinjaTrader open all day.

Review analysis

What people say about Replikanto on Trustpilot

We read 115 of its 127 reviews (reviews of flowbots, the company behind replikanto. every review trustpilot shows without an account), on 8 October 2026.

4.7 Trustpilot score
3.7 Based on what they say
Features 4.5

Its strength: seven sizing methods, NinjaTrader ATM strategies copied to each follower, mini to micro mapping and Follower Guard, which flattens and disarms an out-of-sync follower. What is missing: its own equity protection, which its help center leaves to the broker, and any platform other than NinjaTrader.

See review
★★★★★“Replikanto has far more built-in features than competing copiers, especially when it comes to safety and account protection.”
Reliability 3.2

On Trustpilot almost nobody complains about the copier, but almost everything there thanks support. The specific complaints, on Trustpilot and Reddit, repeat: positions tripled on a follower, opposite positions when stops triggered that ended in prop firm accounts closed for hedging, and 15 to 30 point differences on MNQ when trading from TradingView. The company usually blames duplicate connections or the setup.

See 3 reviews
★★★★★“I've used FlowBots' Replikanto trade copier for over three years with zero issues.”
★★★★★“Replikanto tripled my position size on a follower account. 7 contracts on the leader turned into 21 contracts on the follower, all filled at the exact same second.”
★★★★★“Lost 5 TPT PA accounts on a counter trade violation as the tradecopier got into opposite trades when stops were triggered.”
Value for money 3.5

Paying once is cheap compared with subscriptions, and sales are frequent: users mention paying $149 and $159. The big complaint is the word 'lifetime': the license never expires, but updates and support are paid separately after the first year, and several users feel misled.

See review
★★★★★“FlowBots markets a “lifetime license,” but after one year they block access to new versions unless you pay again for annual renewal.”
Ease of use 3.6

Those who master it describe a deep tool with always something new to learn. But it needs Windows and NinjaTrader open, and several long reviews come from people who spent days with support getting NinjaTrader and Replikanto to work together.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“It's deep enough there is always something new to learn or a more efficient way to optimize your setup”
★★★★★“I was beyond frustrated with trying to get my Flowbots and NinjaTrader apps to sync.”
Support 4.3

Eight in ten 5 star reviews mention support, many by name, describing days of follow-up until the problem was solved. But it is email only, Monday to Friday on New York hours, and only during the first year: after that it costs $39. Critics describe replies that only send a link.

See 2 reviews
★★★★★“This interaction with the Replikanto Flowbots support staff took the time to review, troubleshoot, and suggest options that could resolve my problem.”
★★★★★“When they do offer support NEVER a typed message only sent links”
Transparency 3.0

Its documentation is extensive and honest about latency, limits and hedging risks, and it built a prop firm version that removes its most controversial features. Against it: a 'stealth mode' that hides its trace in orders, and public replies that sometimes harshly blame the customer.

What people like

  • Many features and protections
  • Detailed support during the first year
    See review
★★★★★“There were multiple cases where the solution required several back and forth messages due to its complexity”
  • One-time payment, no subscription
  • Copies across Rithmic, Tradovate and other NinjaTrader brokers
  • Prop firm version without the conflicting features

What people criticise

  • 'Lifetime' without updates after the first year
    See review
★★★★★“It’s essentially a subscription model after the first year, and I feel the marketing should be much more upfront about that.”
  • Tripled or opposite positions on followers
  • Windows and NinjaTrader only
  • Email-only support during business hours
  • Public replies blaming the customer

Positive · 4 and 5

Almost all from 2026, and nine in ten arrive through an invitation link. They thank support for a specific fix; a few, from long-time users, praise the copier.

Mixed · 3

There are none from 2 to 4 stars: users are either delighted or very upset.

Negative · 1 and 2

Eight, all from 2026. Half about the 'lifetime' license; the rest about a tripled position, five accounts lost to hedging and support complaints.

How Replikanto replies

It replies to all of them. It answers negative reviews in detail, sometimes with data from the user's logs, but the tone can be harsh: it calls one customer 'inattentive' or accuses them of not reading the instructions.

To a support complaint
“your problem was simply a lack of attention, where the inattentive trader does not connect the follower to receive the leader's trades”
To someone who lost five accounts to hedging
“Counter trade violations from inverted positions can occur with or without any trade copier.”
On the 'lifetime' license
“the "lifetime" part of the license is real, you can keep using the software for as long as you want.”

Can you trust these reviews?

Trustpilot does not flag the company as inviting reviews, but 103 of the 115 arrive through an invitation link and 114 are from 2026. More than half of the 5 star ones come from accounts with one or two reviews, and almost all talk about support, not the copier. Negative reviews are few but specific. There is no Trustpilot alert.
